Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

a wave of Americans blathering about hwo this means we can't use searches at airports, we need profiling

like we would have stopped black people before today? Like we're going to stop black people and make them take their underwear off for testing?

if it takes 2 days to catch a 1 hour flight while you're tested and given a prison uniform to fly in that's fine by me, I don't see why I should be hit by flaming wreckage just because you're a spoiled rich high-maintenance asshat who would rather blow up than give up VIP treatment

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

are you inferring that the occasional suicide bomber should just be something that we learn to accept?

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

i am an excellent reader,  chris was probably using sarcasm to express his opinion against the added security on airplanes and if you are against added security, you cant expect terrorist attacks to be stopped by means that have proved insufficient multiple times, so opposing added security is pushing to acceptance in the occasional terrorist attack on planes...

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

yeah, discriminate against millions just to have terrorists spend an extra $50 and dress up their terrorists...

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

ok here's how you solve the terrorists on planes problem.  From now on everyone who wants to fly has to arrive at the air port and submit to a stip and cavity search, and I do mean everyone.  Furthermore every piece of luggage will be opened and searched.  Unless you're willing to accept this level of security you have to accept that no matter how tight you make security a few people are going to get through.

Past 20 years shows that the ones that blow up planes are always Middle Eastern dirka dirkas. Therefore, for the safety of the majority (white, black, asian, latino) people, ban all middle eastern people from planes till they can get their kind in line. Stop blowing shit up, no one likes that faggotry.

wasnt this guy black?

no security system is flawless, even the extreme one you listed.

Sure it is.  No sane person will subject themselves to that just to save time on travel when there are alternatives that don't require them to strip down and be violated (train/car for domestic, boat for overseas).  Therfore anyone who shows up at the airport knowing this is going to happen is either a terrorist and needs to be locked up for our safety or mentally unhinged and needs to be locked up for their own.

"No sane person will subject themselves to that just to save time on travel"

Maybe it's a difference in value but I hardly believe that's the case. Ask anyone going on a trans-continental or trans Atlantic or trans Pacific trip.

We have scanners that can scan through clothes - and flesh. Strip searches aren't
really that necessary...

...though every system has its flaws. The harder it is, the harder they will try.

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

my sister was in town for the holidays, she was supposed to leave a 0918 this morning, flight is delayed due to snow.

but she said airport security is rediculous. there is a difference between proper security and just being total pricks because the media is all over this story... what do you guys think?

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

she signed her death warrant buying a ticket

if anything goes wrong the Air Force will kill her

did we forget that?  kind of puts the hassle in perspective?

I dont' buy your story--nobody goes to Buffalo International Airport in December to do anything BUT stare at the walls!

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

wowie, zeh dude was already on some sort of list, and there was other information about an attack?
i know the information prolly didnt say, hey, look for this dude, but if stuffs had been studied with  more care or accurately, the dude might not have gotten a visa ffs

i find it very , very nasty that we all have to submnit to the frolics of some security agency thingy, and that they dont even seem to incorporate all the info they get correctly! how can one justify the fact foreigners have to give up so much information (privacy), have to endure loads of hassle on the airport  etc just because they want to visit the great us of the a?

till the end of time..

because our burgers are better

Actually we run it to suit us.  If you'd have a better time going somewhere else, go there.

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

you re chasing ppl away smile you re not that great, still peopele want to see greatness and want to come and visit, that s something to appreciate, not something to count on, i m talking about legal, volountary tourists

it s one thing to demand stuffs for certain reasons,
it s another if you re not living up to those very reasons;

like i think you would agree; there is no 100% anti-terrorist security stuffs
what i dont get is why ppl are then still willing to submit to big brother-like stuffs, within and outside the usa
i mean everyone's fuse explodes when the goverment tries to do something about the economic/healthcare situation, but when it comes to pseudo/fake savety stuffs, everything goes -_-

ever tried argentinian meat smile?

oh and i freakin work at the airport; amongst the most annoying complainers there is a vast amount of eyemaricans; they look at me in horror when i tell them it s -their- freakin government who wants the securityprocedures to be executed the way they are
it s bad enough my country's government would jump to some outsider's organisation's demands, i dont have to take arrogant shit from ignorant arrogant people.
(same goes for extremely orthodox jews, they re like totally offended they would have to be go through a security check, even if there agents of their own security agency present and sometimes even supervising the whole damn thing -_-)

we ve now even seen that if you are issued a visa, that doesnt mean a lot either -_-
there is no 100% savety , dont act like there is, and dont make others do useless/wary shit hmm  however awesome you might be, that s never a valid excuse.

and yes i m ranting -_-

till the end of time..

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

Have those americans locked up for a day

Stupid bastards

I know it was an American who thought up "the customer is always right" and he was an ass

I don't fly more than once every 5 years, I fail to see why a jihadi's flaming ass and 500 lbs of airplane should crush me to death just so some fatass tourist can have a nice day at the terminal

If it were me I'd have em come in a day early, get doped, fed a purgative, xrayed, stripped, wrapped in a see thru plastic burka, flown on meathooks to wherever, hosed off and allowed to dress when they come to

Try sabotaging that, aq!

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

no security system is flawless,

Here is the future (2015):

Due to the 911 attack of 2011 (suicide nuclear attack of <some city>) and other continued successive terrorist attacks, security measures once taken only in international flight terminals are now conducted at even rural bus stops, and even crossing the street at major intersections.  Now, not only are citizens under 24 hour video surveillance; now, not only is their person and possessions scanned 10-11 times per day (simply going about their daily routines); now, not only are their locations tracked and monitored 24/7 via their mandatory identifying GPS locator implants connected to the NEXUS supercomputer; but, also, individuals genetically predisposed to extremism (and, sadly, also those predisposed to original thinking) are pre-prenatally aborted.  This has given rise to what historians term the age of automatonism.

Re: Nigerian man charged in Christmas airliner attack

Yo...this is all propaganda, to allow the americans to invade Yemen, when the time comes.
The dude on the plane prolly did nothing.

i wouldnt say it spropaganda, but i would say it s very helpful for leading freedom loving people into believing they need restrictions and monitoring of their precious freedom to feel save
