umm... first off, i always thought that everyone already knew about using RC's most people DO use rc's.  Bankers normally start off with cf/rc then switch to cf/to or pop and resourcers use rc's to increase con and resource research.  if anyone wants the numbers for rc research, here they are.

Here is an example.  lets say your a banker with 50% race income bonus
150k cfs * 12gc/tick = 1,800,000 gc per tick. 

lets just say you add 60k rc's (im over estimating) to get to 80% research income bonus
1,800,000 * 0.80 = 1,440,000
1,800,000 + 1,440,000 = 3,240,000 gc/per tick. 

now lets say you got 60k cf's instead so a total of 210k cfs
210k cfs * 12 = 2,520,000

its pretty obvious that rc's makes more for its cost.  You actually don't even need 60k rc's to hit over 80% research.  Now what a banker can do is demolish the rc's and make tos then income will skyrocket. 

Resource income is the same idea but the calculation is a bit more complicated so i won't go into that deeply. 

Lets just say you make the following amounts without research:

80k iron
30k end
300k food

Now with 80% resource research, you get
80k * 1.8 = 144k iron
30k * 1.8 = 54k end
500k * 1.8 = 900k food

Its pretty clear that rc research is completely worth it.  Only thing that needs to be calculated is the time it takes for someone to get their research that high.  I know its possible because im currently over 80% research in two sciences using 50% race research bonus.  im currently just over 2m nw.

you are forgetting that speculation is the highest point of marketing... so figuring out when things sell more frequent than other times, and when to stock up on things because they are going to raise in price "HAS LIKE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT"  U R A RE-TARDEDED person, but paying attention to the trends that a galaxy tends to follow, is a sure way to place your bids right, and know that you will have activity in you sales, and buys,
so that you can make more resources and cash as you need it.
