Maybe killing sadam was a good thing, but when u started that mess u finish it so don't go running like u all did in nam
I'm an American but don't really give a shit at all about domestic or international politics. For my money, politics are kinda like the biggest and most expansive reality TV program that has ever existed, with three times the amount of bullshit as 'Survivor' or 'American Idol'. I could give two [tree]s about politics. However, I find this comment somewhat ridiculous. The "America" as world police line is getting old and is a definite double standard. I personally would never involve the American government in international affairs, including the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan. However, if a major crisis persists on a global scale, and America doesn't get involved, the entire world thinks it's because the US is being greedy and acting as isolationists. For [tree]'s sake, America is still getting flak for only entering WWII when it was directly attacked, instead of earlier on when Germany invaded France and Poland. Everyone thinks the U.S. should have entered the "Second Great War" earlier, to aid Western European states that were under fire from Germany. I'll admit that the wars against the spread of socialism in East Asia were a mistake, and should have never happened, as the inherently flawed socialist system died out on its own without capitalist U.S. action. However, this "world police" shit has got to stop, as when the military action is viewed as "wrong" it is seen as American neo-imperialism, but when America's military doesn't act against a situation considered "right" (i.e. genocide in Uganda), they are being bastards.
