Everyone has the capacity to learn this, but we rely on our eyes so we don't need it. It's kinda sad that we aren't born with the ability to use our bodies to their fullest

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

So... because I know that alot of English words come from Dutch, and that I think Dutch is kind of poetic, it MUST mean that I consider any language that is a parent of English beautiful?

nope, thats not what i was saying at all. apparently your ability to read at all. i did not claim that you must consider any language that is a parent of english beautiful because you consdier Dutch as kind of poetic. i stated that Dutch and english sharing words doesnt mean they cant vary greatly in beauty... which is against what you insinuated when you said "Would now be a bad time to point out that alot of English words come from that ugly language?" that comment insinuated that they cant very greatly in beauty because they share many words...

Beauty is never logical. Stop right there; any further discussion is just silly and stupid.
And yes, I do think your opinion is shallow, uninformed and ignorant. When you hear a language that you're not familiar with, you can not possibly value it, in the same way a deaf or blind person can't value a ballet or an opera. The simple reason for that is that its full meaning is lost to you.
