You always help your allies if they NEED help. If they are farming the hell out of a small family, then no, you dont jump in.

the key word here is NEED help. Thats what an alliance is supposed to be about. Otherwise you might as well just have a PNAP with them.

I disagree... why a double standard?  If fam #1 is allied with fam #2... they should be working together as a TEAM or ALLIANCE just the same as if that #1 fam were allied with fam #32.... whether they're facing fams #3 and #4 or fams #25 and #26.

I fail to see the reasoning behind not helping your ally "just because they think they can do it on their own" -- whats the point of being their ally then in the first place?
