Thought it was a pretty boring draw. No real group of death besides group G but neither Portugal or Ivory Coast are likely winners anyway. None of the serious contenders are likely to meet before the quarter finals. I know it is set up that way on purpose but it does make it potentially dull!

Group C is definitely the weakest group; England and USA got sooo lucky with the draw.

and Ireland are abunch of babies.... Refs are never 100% on calls during any game; a handball is no more cheating then taking someone out from behind who had a break away or a dive in the box that draws a PK. its part of the sport...

Talking about weak groups, group E is a cakewalk for the Netherlands if they're even partly as good as in EC '08.

Spain has the easiest group.But the prospect of a tricky Last 16 tie. Holland has a fairly easy group, and the prospect of an easy Last 16 game.

I shared a hotel with Ghana a few months back, and they were noisy, inconsiderate to sleeping guests, upon their win. I am hoping Serbia and Germany dump them out.

US is basicly guarenteed to advance to second round. I mean really, even if we dont beat the brits we will deffinetly win over Slovenia and algeria. if we dont we deserve to go home, just dont know how many points we can score over england

I think Spain is gonna loose in the Last 16 game. their group is too easy, and when they play a competent Ivory Coast team (my prediction) they are gonna lose.

the US is a decent team, but they're also inconsistent; it is very possible that they dont make it through their group, its also very possible for them to win it...

D and G are toughest imo.
E isn't that easy, Cameroon has some very good players and Denmark beat Norway and Portugal in qualifications.

In the end it doesn't really matter, last EC Netherlands was superior in the group phase and then lost to Russia anyway, so.. tongue

i think the earliest the US and N Korea can face each other is the semi-finals... that would be damn impressive for both.... significantly more so for N Korea. well, not that impressive for US, after progressing through their group they would just need to beat Ghana or Germany and then Argentina or France.... probably...
