sd was open to help form the void of the other 3 gals being full. Please do blame mods for not making sd hardcore.

Once icpg is over they will run an sd hc round as they run oppersite of each other.

IF you want to mess around here and teach possible new players then join.

If you don't want to play in this gal then that is ok also. They wanted to keep space open for new players.

it was done on a whim, sd is the galaxy with default option that allows everyone to play, soo just was lazy and used sd.

Jets I am playing PW right now, I dont want to play another PW simultaneiusly, and I think most players will agree on this.
Teach new players? the best way they learn is in hardcore mode. I mean one new player starting up as SS have much more chances to survive in a regular gal, because he learns the ropes by himself.

i think mods did right thing to open up SD for normal, i mean, 20 players per fam, that's old school, most vets miss it..so why not?

im sure this probably attract more new players...with more players, more galaxies opening, i agree next round sd can become hardcore, i miss playing hardcore, but i can wait

tahts ok, but now figure the scenary:

1 active player in a fam of 10, the other players are inactive, that new guy wanting to play has 0 chances against an active family, he will feel like the game is unbalanced and forget about it ---> we lose a new player

In the other scenary we have 3 players fams, that same guy will have chances to enjoy the round, no matter the other 2 are inactive, there are no big fams to destroy him easily, cause max is 3, he can still survive as SS and learn a lot about the game ---> we gain a new player
