X(  I'm at 105K  I bought DAL waiting for Delta to turn upwards again.  NDN should pull up as well.  XRM I'm still betting on that puppy.  We'll know in a couple weeks whether it gets financing.  I still say its a sound bet to pull above $2.  If only the world listened to me...

I guess banks would be good to get into for the next quarter but I enjoy the risk of short turnovers especially since I learnt to do stop-loss orders and sell-limit orders.

FMD is earning bucks again but it just got hit with some class-action lawsuits which could keep it low for a long time to come.

I made 3500 in one day by investing in GFF and SCHW and I'm also investing in DAL which should go up soon

Short term luck, Gladiator.

I caught C low, and had a stop-sell at 26.30 when I saw the pre-market price.  Then, as the market opened, I figured it was a bubble, and shorted C at the same time.

I then covered the short at 25.15 I think it was. 
That was about 1/2 my 100K.

Another 30K was in E-trade.  Nice hit there as well.

Shorting a stock is playing it to loose value.  Buying is playing it to gain.
Buying to cover a short,  is getting out of a short play.

Its just about knowing a company.....actually a few, and knowing when they are over valued, and when they are under valued.

And if you can play 2 of 3 correctly, over time, you will do well.   If you play 1 of 3 correct, you will not do well. 

Do your homework, and practice on these game places.  Follow the news.  Follow the reports.  Listen to 1/4 audios. 

Im no expert for sure.  Im just in a zone w/C for now.  Im catching it correctly.  Look at the chart, you can see the tops and bottoms.  Couple that w/news and a good strong constitution.  hehe.

hmm maybe stefan should add a Galactic Commodities Market to the game

Lookit MA mastercard! they reported a quarterly profit of $1.2 billion and a big market share, soared $33 bucks on the news!  Didn't have the stomach to buy anything priced $273 a share though.  I did buy Visa at $80.88 and lets see if I can hold on until it hits $90, they did good too...wonder why Mastercard is worth 3x Visa??

i picked visa over mastercard tongue

i was going for mastercard, but didn't have enough cash to make a real difference

and V is less than mastercard, because they havent been on the market too long.they were only listed on there a couple of months back

Visa hahaha we all hoped it would soar like MC ...it didn't.  I got greedy and aimed for a full $10 a share hike. I should have sold at $6 up...we'll see what it does next week

NDN floats like a butterfly but won't hit $10.  Neither will DAL, maybe airlines weren't the best buy.  Wamu refuses to hit $35, woohoo I don't think.

Einstein is doing very well on those telecoms!  I'm jealous.

BW has just 3 stocks and they're sweeping us up like Darth Vader and his escort in the Death Star Trench.
