Topic: I figured it out!

Now this is nowhere a great discovery like the invention of the miniskirt but I have figured it out!

We all remember some time ago Xeno was talking about the Anglo-American banking conspiracy. Well apparently the idea is from a Chinese bestseller called <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Currency_Wars">Currency Wars</a>. The book sold 200,000 legitimate copies and another 400,000 pirated copies and is reportedly read by all the top national and business leaders in China. The author was so well received that he was commissioned to write more books on the Yen, Euro, and a host of other currency related topics. A particular reason this book generated so much press at the time of its release was that the author predicted the US housing market collapse in 2008.

Could this be the start of a generation of anti-West national and business leaders in China? Xeno evidently believes it and he's not even Chinese.

I thought xeno was Chinese.  I remember during the swine flu conspiracy thread, after the OP posted about 6 different Youtube videos, xeno clearly asked for someone to tell him what the videos were about, because the Chinese government wouldn't allow them to watch youtube videos.

(If this is true, it makes your argument about a zillion times more plausible)

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.

Pirate television is illegal television. Pirate TV websites are websites offering illegal video. It's illegal media. There's a lot of it in China because so much is outlawed.
