The better the family, the better the banker's income. More bankers is more spread income and less peak income. Either way it all says nothing because it is about how you used the given and self made resources/cash to improve your empire.

Last round I am proud of myself for doing so well as banker in a low ranked family, but in Capricorn 1 I jumped a banker to 45mil income half way through the round and no one got even close to that income. But that doesn't say anything about that banker, it said a lot about winME who coordinated that for him and left himself at only 1/4 of that income.

Last round I attacked a 1.5m nw banker that lost 76k soldiers on first attack... Since i could raid someone easier i didnt even took the 1 ticker i had with him, that would have just make his income grow...

most of what i read was shit.
i know that research builds quick (once started 50rc's=1000 research a tick) and it works, and keeps you well below most attackers until they can do nothing about you, now i in no way suggest that every banker do this... the reason is that a banker that build large can create a lot of cash fast, but will be taken out in a banker raid faster, while a research/CF banker if hit will only lose 5-10% of income for 2 ticks, the POP or big CF bankers will lose up to 50%
so having one of each ( a CF and  POP and research banker) is the most solid choice.
