in l4d there are infected. But other then a raging virus they are perfectly normal people like you and me.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Assassin's creed offers you the option to kill a lot of civilians too though.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.

No civs in Doom and if you mod UT to change the invaders skin they're hardly civilians.

See how it suggests that the civillians I am referring to are not originally part of the game?
See how it refers to Columbine, that shooting incident where the shooters practiced using their own replicas of people and places?

Change their skin, when did I say that? "modded" as in modified as in changed as in not invaders any more... Jesus... kinda already insinuated don't ya think? hmm

Oh, and the UT series also has Jailbreak, which is hours of endless unarmed fun, but they're not civilians either, they're computer generated models of prisoners in a game and don't count because they're not actual civilians.

/me considers swapping Agent Smith for French people.
