The way station employee shivered as he put down the communication handle. Sweat was dripping from his forehead as he watched the small blip on the radar fade away. It had been four hours since last communication, of which two after the designated time. He didn't have to spell out how grave this situation had become, the terrified faces on the rest of personnel confirmed.

'This is 0022, we encountered an extreme solar storm and the heavy turbulence caused serious chaos aboard the plane. We ...

The channel went dead and the personnel gazed at the terminal trying to figure out what just had happened.

22 enthusiastic passengers took place in the luxurious quarters that this space ship provided. Strapping on safety belts was not needed in this ship as this ship was supplied with the latest technology of force control. Making this the first smooth and turbulence free travel in the history of the human race.

"Hey Capt, there is something wrong" the copilot said as he awakened Captain Bury. "whu what?" he sleepily responded. "The communication system seems to be malfunctioning, I will see what I can do to fix it before our check in".

Captain Bury nodded as he closed his eyes to catch some more sleep.

In one of the more southern parts of the ship lay one of the bigger quarters that were available on this ship. This eight person quarter was fully occupied and all of the eight occupants where seated in the general area. There was something odd about this bunch, well at least seven of the eight appeared to be. It was almost as if one of them didn't belong there.

"Woa" what was that, the eighth guy said as the ship started shaking.
Before he could say more the ship started shaking more heavily, tossing out several bags from the luggage compartments. One of the pieces of luggage flew over and landed right in front of him, the crash had forced the lock and the suitcase popped open. His mouth fell open as he gazed at the weaponry that was in the bag.

"Now that is inconvenient" one of the others said as he pressed the tip of handgun against the head man. The pistol like weapon made no sound as the bullet gushed through the head of the innocent passenger.
"It is time to execute our plan early, go!. quickly!"

Two mobsters quickly rushed off.

The present..

The two mobsters arrived at the cockpit, ready to force the crew to their bidding and capture this space ship. This new technology would soon be theirs. The forced the door but they were too late, both the Captain and copilot had been shot point blank through the head.

The mobsters looked at each other, not really sure what this meant and what this would mean for them. They looked at the terminals and to be honest, they could not really make heads or tails out of this new technology. Without the piloting crew, this ship was doomed. A glance of fear appeared on their faces as they rushed back to the group to tell the news. This day had become a whole lot more complicated..

The future of Galactic flight 0022 seemed grim as the ship now continued to rush uncontrollably through space..

Additional role - The Captain.

Only the Godfather and Mafia will know who the other mobsters are. Everyone else will be in the dark.

NIGHT PHASE - WHO DOES WHAT?
Each phase of the game begins with the night. The following can happen during this time:
- Before the end of the first night, the Mafia must elect their godfather. The godfather is the leader of the Mafia. He, together with the other mobsters, will decide on person to kill each night. He will also choose one of them to conduct the kill. The godfather has the final say in any Mafia night decision. He will also appear to be innocent to the sheriff's investigations and is immune to being killed at night.
- The Serial killer is a madman who kills one person every night. Like the Godfather, he is immune to being killed/cured at night and will only die if lynched.
- The Cops have the power to investigate one player per night. By daytime, he will discover this person's role. He can do what he likes with this information but revealing it might reveal his identity.
- The Role blocker has the ability to block one person per night. This will prevent the blocked player to do any kind of night time activity. This effects every role in the game, so that means Mafia, Serial killer, Cops, Doctor and possibly all special roles. For the Mafia and Cops this means they have to choose who does the work at night and the block will only affect the actual conductor. Blocking the godfather blocks the Mafia kill as well. This person is aligned with the town.
- The Doctor has the ability to save one person per night. That person will be protected from any possible attack by the Mafia or serial killer. The doctor is forbidden from choosing the same person two nights in a row and he cannot choose himself.
- The First aider is regular townie at first, but in case the doctor dies. This person will step up and take over the role as Doctor.
- The Captain - is an additional role, which means it is on top of your given role. The Captain has two votes in every lynching and is elected by the town on day 1. Upon death, the Captain chooses his or her predecessor.

DAY PHASE - LYNCHING
During the day phase, everyone in the town will find out who has been murdered. All townsfolk (including the Mafia, the serial killer, doctor and cops) can then vote who they think are mobsters. This is the lynching process. There will be a deadline to which the people must vote by. If there is a draw, the deadline will be extended and only those drawing will be voted on. If there is still a draw by the new deadline, there will be no lynching. Once the result is in, the person will then be dead and their role will be revealed. Then that round is over and night begins again when the night roles make their next choices.

WHO WINS?
The godfather and his Mafia will win if they manage to kill everyone else off. The serial killer wins if he is the last person alive and the rest win if they manage to kill off all the Mafiaand kill the serial killer.

Everyone is allowed to post in the thread to discuss who they think is infected or try to make themselves less suspicious (if they are Mafia!). You may NOT quote any part of messages sent by the game moderators. Doing so will result in your sudden death. Also, when you die you are dead and are no longer part of the game, you are not allowed to discuss the game with anyone.
