@ Zaige, dunno why you have to be smuck over anything to be honest.

Let's recap; your nap with 2402 gets cancelled and you have 48 hours to prepare.
During that 48 hours period your ally 2410 'conveniently' drops you and allies to 2423
As a farewell present 2410 cleared some portals that 2402 held near 2417

That can happen but it didnt stop the planned war between 2402 and 2417
As for that war; 2417's fleets were dealt with pretty quick and gains were being made by 2402

Right now the situation is that your 'former' ally 2410 and their respective 'new' ally 2423 are interfering more than just protecting the systems they are in.
As for 2423; one can also wonder why they were allowed to get their leader inside 2417's core near 2402 in the first place.

So now it's debatable whether this was planned or not by the 3 leaders  in question caus it does all appear a little too coincidental.

'Vulturing' is something that's not appreciated by most players but technically not against the rules so i won't comment on that.

But seeing that this is slowly turning into a 3 vs 1 now does make one wonder.

And to quote Portgas (2410) :

Indeed, you hit 2402 knowing that they were going to war your former ally and now you're bringing in the new ally aswell to the fight.

And to quote colorado (2423) :

Since when are planets in 2417's core your core ?
Even more interesting is the fact that Zaige (2417) states in this thread that Colorado (2423) owns a system where he only has 1 planet and the other 20 are owned by 2417.

I'll leave it to the IC players to form their own opinion on this matter.

But i do understand why Glue is pissed off over this.

So, Glue threatens to remove portals from our attackers when the war is over (The war against a family that's had it's top attacker delete and it's second best attackers portals/fleet destroyed by 05 already...) and we are supposed to go "Oh, okay, let's let the family that threatened to attack us, get portals in their shares with us and just wait for the war to end"

That makes no sense.

Glue is just lucky I didn't kill all of his bankers income just before they officially warred with 17 (as 17 asked, sorry guys sad )

Now we clear Glue and Stuffeh's shares and take a little more. Why? Because we can and Glue has been sounding off for a while. WTF not attack him? Gives us something to do. The planets you lost to us that were from 2417 probably had no infra anyway. It's not loss to you other then the fleet you jumped.

Oh, and about waiting until the war is over. How many of you knew about 2404/2409's war being over with 2405/2422? Or any of the other fams wars being over? When a war is over families don't go out and shout about it in the forums. If asked they often lie saying they are still warring so they can hide behind it.

I see no problem with us clearing areas in and around our cores. Especially when clearing a person who has already threatened to attack us (Even if it was only Mangoza you threatened, you threaten one you threaten the family). I also see no problem working with our new ally. It's probably the first time all round we've worked with an ally in earnest.

why im ther eim there in 4 systems  17 was my former ally so thats why im there
after my fam fighted last days several fams  now i checked my more spreided systems and see  2402 all over in it an were  17 systems so before they clear me i clear them simpel
but for once gleu youre just a whiner

Our [gluen00b] was attacked by Army of Darkness of family 2423, I am pleased to say that we with our forces extraordinary fighting skill were able to fight the attackers off our planet.
In the fight we lost 19084 fighters 7089 soldiers 13643 droids

I don't have time to read all this bubbling, but for everything that's directed at me, because I'm apparently creating a lot of drama this round, here's my answer for everything:

1)  I will attack whoever I want, whenever I want.  If you're in my systems, or systems I want.  If you're at war, getting ready for war, or thinking about having a war, or having just got out of a war.  I really don't care.  You're the one who chose to declare on a specific family and take the morale gains, and with it, comes a disadvantage attacking other fams - that's your problem, not mine.  I also face the morale consequences, but I choose to.  So we both made choices and are left to face with them.

2) If you don't like how I play, offer me a NAP or planet compensation, at least you won't have to deal with me, and you won't lose fleet or position.  Because apparently having to deal with me means you have to spam universal news and annoy everyone in the galaxy.  So save everyone some time and effort, including yourself.

3) If I offer you a chance to NAP, and you decline, that is yet another decision you have made, for which you handle the consequences.  I'm not saying that I am going to for sure attack you, or that I'm not, but it's your choice.  I don't really care how you play the game, or if you don't like how I play it.  I know how I play it, my family knows how I play it, and so do my allies and those who have played against me.

I have a different strategy to yours, and if you don't like it, do something about it.  Obviously your strategy isn't working if it is dependent on no one in the galaxy using differing strategies....such as I.

I think that about sums up this thread for Glue.

A Mod can close it anytime.

reading mangoza's 3 points of explanation, considering 2405's drop of allies and more to the point 2410's burning through allies, the constant farming, vulturing, napbreaking, the inability of many fams to even get a nap signed coz they dont know how (or just use naptalks to stall for time to set up), abuse of vmode and pmode and so on, i can only say one thing :

why is everyone wondering why ic is dying?

When the desperate need to win takes over from the last bit of moral integrity, it just goes to show one thing - you're a loser. Real winners take a round with their moral integrity intact.
Not siding with anyone on the issue, just making a general statement.

Yes vulturing is a part of IC as much as Farming.... its not great that it happens but it does and top players should know this happens:) as with vulturing tho.... im sure if they were at war and glue attacked them they would probably be here too complaining. Mangoza i like how you play but maybe find your own family to war:)
