Topic: Silvio Berlusconi

Berlusconi has been found guilty of corruption (again, lol). Incredible. I simply cannot understand how the Italian people keep backing this guy up while he has been trialed multiple times and has proven connections with the mafia. Every time he got trialed again he simply passes another law to get away with it.

I know he controls/manipulate the biggest part of the media but still...how can people be so stupid? Some things in Italy today remind me of the USSR, especially the control of one guy over the media.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

The Italians deserve Berlusconi.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

Because excepting his great wealth, Berlusconi represents the Italian everyman that's why.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

because he uses his wealth and power to bang supermodels.

Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

Well, you can have the Mafia run the county in the background through crime or in the open through a president.

At least they don't need to threaten or bribe this one... cheaper in the long run.

This forum is stupid.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

Lol Blonde.

I personally think Berlusconi will soon fall from favour with the Italian people. Having their President on the covers on trashy tabloids around the world every second week or so much be a huge embarrassment for them. Not to mention the highest court in Italy recently struck down a law passed giving him immunity while in office. I think it's only a matter of time before he's forced out of office, either by the corruption charges he's facing, of members of his governing coalition getting fed up trying to support him.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

I think so, but it was very close to yet another dictatorship.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

not that many people vote in italy so actualy Berlusconi doesn't represent alot of italian people but if the Italian people, for whatever reason, refuse to vote nothing will ever change.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

pay me for a blowjob and ill vote you!

i love you all!

Berlusconi is what you get when you cross Hugh Hefner with a bag of slime.

i seriously doubt the italians give a [r-ass] that their president is on covers of trashy tabloids around the world. they're not the people to let foreigners influence their domestic politics.

heck, look at Bush. i think Berlusconi's internation reputation is better then Bush's; yet Bush got elected to the most terms possible under US Law.

people dont change their vote/beliefs because foreigners dont approve of them. if foreigners dont approve of it, then [tickle] the foreigners, im not changing.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

true avo, unfortunately.

But maybe people will start changing their minds *if* he falls. The difference with this guy and for instance bush is that this guy controls the media, wich is insanely undemocratic.(with democratic, I mean the control system) Whether you are for or against you have to admit that if bush would have been trialed in the same way and for the same reasons, no way he would have been reelected.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

errrr... he's already fallen from favour with them...

they're just too afraid he'll have them all wacked.

This forum is stupid.

you just sound extremely arrogant, thinking you know whats best for the Italians better then the Italians do.

If the Italians knew what was best for the Italians they would not have voted for Berlusconi.

idd, lol

@avo:
I disagree but I'm ok with arrogant.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

great news, Berlusconi is going to be trialed at 27 November. I doubt he will quit his job tough.

Re: Silvio Berlusconi

He's going to be in trial... and who will judge him?

It's like a boss asking his staff for feedback on how he does his job.

This forum is stupid.
