and Lee, speaking from a completely unbiased perspective, you may have had skirmishes with other fams in the top 10, but thats exactly why you're behind on pcount. all you have is skirmishes, not generally full wars. You want to nap far too easily and it's something I kept noticing last round as well.
Lets not just blame Lee though. Its the general direction of the game. I just think it ruins the game. Bcoz it becoming more about who you know in other fams now adays then it is about skill and strategy. There is little strategy when there are lots of naps. There is also little drama with lots of naps. The game is overall better without too many naps, lol!
I am personally trying for a push for the IA rule overhaul.
All I want is a decent cancellation war. Just a war where we fight to see who has the better skills. This round is just bs =p

Ok, I am going to explain exactly what went down to bring this up.
right i dont want the planets and is willing to let the 72 hour pass from our side, but they dont seem to want that.
MY Opinion remaining as unbias as I can.
Fam leader makes a deal with the old boys' club. Doesn't tell his family. When family finds out, they threaten to overthrow him. IC Death decides that he no longer wants to be in a family where he's being overthrown - it's not only awkward but a stab to your character and reputation.
IC Death tries to sidestep this by arguing that the NAP he made without considering his allies or his OWN Family, that they overthrew him for, should be held because he made it.
Nice try buddy. There's 12 others in your family who have vested time in, and I consider those actions equivalent to going rogue. Only instead of killing off IC Death, he sees as Deleting as honourable.
It's the same as giving a hitman a gun to kill himself after he accidentally kills a child.
Honourable? Maybe...saved them time from killing him...but overall...get real.
NAP is void. Never even laster more than 12 hours. Stop your complaining.

After some serious infra family conflicts and bad leading and decision making from I C Death (Angel of Despair) I would like to negotionate a new nap treaty with both You 2396 and 2414.
I hope we can get into a channel somewhere to talk later this evening.

So if you have any sort of nap agreement with 17, I suggest you reconsider whether you trust them to keep it or not. Kudos to IC Death for leaving.
17 moved a few attackers close to our core, I cleared them. IC Death then jumped and started hitting some of my portals. We bounced back and forth for 2 days and things went no where.
Nap talks were in place, nothing was decided. A few hours later I get this on irc from Lee, Leader of 2405. He had gone to 05 seeking an IA to kill us in exchange for offering all of his morale planets.

That confirmed his attempt to do it so all talks were off and I raided one of their bankers and hit some of their portals and other players as well. Both my fam and 14 had been fighting with 10 who is 17's ally for a while for spread, they were doing ops for 17, and then Portgas attempted to expo small in both our cores to hit our bankers. I then told Parrot why don't we just go 2v2 here and you cancel on 17 and we can make it official then. Parrot cancelled nap.
IC Death knowing how much this could hurt his family came to talk nap. Parrot made me miss dinner to do all the talking. I had him agree to the planet number to pay as well as even removed some of the stipulations of the origional nap they had which would have benefitted 17.
Week 16 the nap was signed.

Actually Mangoza, Considering I had informed members of 17 about IC Death's attempt with 05 and they supported his actions and still kept him as leader. So yes, he does still represent their whole family.

I would almost argue that a player that is aware of an IA attempt and doesn't report it to a mod is just as guilty.
You should be Banned from the game for having such knowledge and neglecting to inform someone of illegal and unfair game play.

First of all, I'm not crying =p I had no problem fighting 17, but I agreed to a nap and so did they. If they choose to honor it, so will I.
Also, since you don't seem to know the rules. You cannot be blocked for an IA unless it is followed through with. Also, it WAS shown to two mods just for giggles.
And just like you quoted me there. I said he was honorable for deleting. I didn't say he was an honorable person or player. Just that leaving when his family wished to break a pnap and after what he had done was honorable.
MSN and mirc Logs aren't a valid form of proof of an IA because of their ability to be tampered with
