Help Obama win the Heisman

Ezra Klein: "Obama also won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry. "He just has great chemistry" said Nobel Committee"
Limbaugh: "This just in: Pope Benedict declares Barack Obama Holy Roman Emperor"
Jealousy is a bitch.
Whatever
Everybody knows Steinbeck [pooped] it up for every other American!!!! EVERYBODY! Just ask!!!
The exclusivity this prize should have is unfortunately gone. It should be for the real exceptional persons in history who really contributed to peace.
Now for Obama, you can't say that its true. Maybe after his term, if he manages to get peace in the middle east or something.
@Elrohir
The prize is no longer awarded to those that deserve it. But i would still prefer Obama
to get it then Al Gore...

From the news reports I have read online, the committee didn't give him the award based on what he has actually achieved, but mostly just because his taking office seemingly completely shifted the world's view of the US. Even Obama was like "whaa?" when he found out.
He may do great things (I hope) but he hasn't done anything yet, there's got to be someone out there more deserving.

Probably, but the Nobel committee is a bunch of mooks. Seriously, they gave the damn thing to Al Gore. ![]()
not probably, but definitely
Whats a mook?
I looked it up, but didnt understand much, there was just a picture of Gerorge Bush
You keep forgetting him being president will stop a lot of hatecrimes of blacks on whites.
And he's a positive rolemodel for all african-americans... which means they'll think they can go to school instead of rob people because the man is keeping them down.
After Al Gore won it for being an insincere attention whore contributing to the "problem" he fights more than 99.99% of anyone on this earth, it hasn't been much of a secret that it's openly politicized. More people to be aware fall under the "trash" heading. Surprise surprise.
I lold when I heard.
Noble Prize is a pile of bs now.
the n2xacp forced it on him and to not except it would have been a degradation of the award... it was not his intention, or desire to get it, but for respect of the award.
being our first black president, and taking over george bush's total [moo] ups, makes him a hero in my book.
Accepting it degraded the award. The award of a performance prize to a guy who has done nothing, has degraded the award. And he degraded himself by playing into that.
Name one f-up of Bush that he has REVERSED. If anything he is going full tilt to make it worse.
i agree with yell, that if he didnt accept the reward, it would of degraded it no more then it has already been degraded by his winning the reward.... and if it degraded it more, maybe it deserves to be degraded more considering the circumstances...
hell, if he didnt accept the reward, my respect for him would of increased dramatically.

lol...

The U.S. public image. He has promoted peace throughout the world, and
the world's opinion of the U.S. has changed. Dramatically.
He has actually made a difference outside the U.S., if you admit it
or not. This isn't due to his policies though, as much as is him not
being George Bush.
whoop de shit
