Topic: Strange food mixtures... What do you have..?

Ok, so, just wondering what strange mixtures of things that you have...

My gf loves having baked beans on crumpets, which i think is yuk.

One I like is porridge with cheese in it smile

There's been a cooking book made by chemists, biologists and professional cooks. They made these really odd combinations but when prepared right, they were orgasmic.. Unfortunatly, I can't really remember anything from it..

I can't think of anything I do though..

1 cup of sugar
1 cup of peanut butter
1 egg (I use large eggs, I advise you to do the same)

1. preheat oven to 375C
2. Stir all ingredients together
3. roll into balls and stick them on a pan leave a little room in between as they expand
4. stick in the oven for 10 min
5. ????
6. profit

easiest recipe if u are starting to cook, hope u enjoy it.

Salami & sliced strawberry sandwiches. Salty and sharp! big_smile I also make B&B pud with sliced apples, which = yum, though not exactly all that weird.

And fried toast (fried in margarine, not butter, of course, to make it all that more healthy *scoff*) which I subsequently soak in hot maple syrup . . . though only bout once a year, else my blood pressure will make it into the world record books.

Ordinary for US, but not for Europe: Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwich

Another advise is to try Peanut Butter and Chocolate Pasta (=bread spread)

My favorite sauce is sour cream with a drop of ketcup. I also eat green apples with cheese and on the cheese I put mustard(not the weak american kind but strong british kind). I also put butter on black bread and sprinkle it with cayenne, chilli, tabasco and curry.
