KT stared at herself in the mirror, smoothing an imaginary wrinkle from her dress. Today was special, today she would get herself a new cat! She glanced at the pictures she had found on the internets and smiled at the cute little kitten she had chosen. Looking in the mirror again she scrutinised herself, satisfied with her choice.

She heard him even before he opened the door, her gaze meeting his.
"What are you doing here!" She hissed, turning to stare at him angrily. "Didn't I tell you not to come back?"
The man studied her silently, his face expressionless. "I had to come. I had to see you!"

"You need so me? You need to see me!" KT questioned in disbelief.

"You know I didn't mean to hurt her, it was an accident!"

"Yea right.. Poor miser whiskers" she sobbed.

"Honest, it was all an accident KT, please let me have another chance.."
"I even made you something" the man said as he handed KT a little photo album.

She snatched the album from his hand and skipped through the pages. A series of pictures of mutilated cats, dead cats and lolcats where to be seen.
"YOU ARE SICK!, she screamed, while noticing the gun in his hand for the first time.

"What are you going to do with that?"

He smiled coldly. Silently he aimed the gun and shot her.
She staggered back, automatically clutching her chest. She stared down at her wound, and then stared at him in disbelief.
He walked to stand over her. "You're mine, KT. Those stupid cats had to go, why could you not see that."

A few minutes after the mobster had left, another person rushed into the room. The figure bend over KT and said: "don't worry, you are in very capable hands".
The next morning KT woke up all patched up, but with a serious case of amnesia regarding the night before.
