A brief explanation:

This is not a place to discuss any political issue.  This is the suggestion box.  Post your ideas for possible discussions within the politics forum.  When considering making a topic for the forum, topic creators can refer to this list to give them ideas for issues to discuss, whether to explore new areas or hear otherwise unheard opinions.  Below is a general list of possible topics for discussion.  The list is not meant to evoke any particular set of beliefs.  I am just putting ideas on the list as they are suggested.

Warning: This will be a LONG list, ideally, and will need the input of as many people as possible.  As I am hoping for a comprehensive list, this includes domestic political issues within different countries.  If you have any ideas, feel free to post them.

Note: If your issue is country or region-specific, say that.
Also, please refrain from overly general topic ideas, when possible.  I.E.: America-Being Evil=A bad topic.  America-Foreign intervention=better
When searching the thread for ideas with respect to certain countries, I suggest you check both the international and domestic issues sections.  Categorization in and of itself is a subjective, and therefore politicized, process (example: Is human rights an international issue).  What you may see as a domestic issue may be placed as an international issue simply due to a different interpretation.
