I'm pretty sure the bunnies are in it too.
....i recently was confirmed as having "swine" flu....i was off work for about 9 days, it started off like a flu but after three days my throat felt like it was "closing" up (this panicked me as used to suffer badly from asthma), i had earache, continual feeling off nausea, mixed stools (not in an furniture kind of way though) and i felt that all my the muscles in my body were aching at the same time....i was prescribed tamiflu and took it as prescribed, some of the symptoms eased (throat, earaches, stools) but the achiness of my muscles took another few days of ibuprofen and weed to calm down....everytime a cure comes out there are people who start panicking about the "unknown", i bet they did after penicillen was invented, someone shouting out "it's mould you know!"....it is the same with everything unknown, we feel insecure and panic
There is no cure - thats the my 1st point
There is no pandemic - thats my 2nd point
If your sitting around tapping away on your keyboard, surrounding yourselves with your pointless trinkets while your flat screen TV in the corner continues to sell you fear, then congratulations - you lose.
Protect yourselves and your families because without a little forward planning your all a bit fcuked really.
....no pandemic yet but at the moment the concern is mutation with another flu virus (such as bird flu, regular influenza, etc) and those at risk are mainly the elderly, infirm, those with underlying illness (such as weak heart, lungs, etc) and the very young.
To the rest of us it is like a very bad cold/flu and after a few days it subsides and you can get on with looking for other illnesses to fret about.
Reported cases in the UK are down by 1/3 from about 1,000 to about 300 (according to figures released by the NHS) and we are already in the "dreaded" flu season and still no apocolypse ![]()
be afraid of their vaccines... very afraid...

We havn't yet seen what the Swine flu will do.
Not many Africans travel overseas, and most of the worlds population is in the northern
hemisphere. At the end of the year, when the normal flus run wild, thats when we'll see
if (or if not) the swine flu will be able to mutate and take over the world. <
