Charts mean nothing when you want to discuss quality
But I agree, those kind of remixes are the worst. There are so many great remixes out there if you just look. Decently composed, sometimes subtle, sometimes drastic, but almost never gone too far. That's the kind of remixes people should always listen to

As to why some people listen to such rubbish music, I think at least half of them do so because they never gotten to really exploring music and just stick with such music. I refuse to believe that you could like only that kind of music. I find it hard enough to believe that you could like it at all

I also think that a newish song called American Boy by Estelle (i think is her name) is one of the worst to get to number 1. As lloyd said, charts mean nothing
