It was the custom in Ancient Rome for the men to place their right hand on their testicles when taking an oath. the modern term "testimony" is derived from this tradition.

- That the roman god of water is Neptune, not Poseidon tongue

- Wonderwoman and the polygraph are invented by the same person, a certain William Moulton Marston.
- Animals were put to trial in the same procedure when they killed a person in the 15th and 16th century. They were questioned, saw their goods confiscated and put to death.

God: Behold ye angels, I have created the ass.. Throughout the ages to come men and women shall grab hold of these and shout my name...

The 'spot' on 7UP comes from its inventor who had red eyes. He was an albino.

On average, 12 newborns will be given to the wrong parents daily

there s no such thing as negative calories -_- it has very few calories though, indeed, but not negative ones

till the end of time..

Re: Trivia!! Did you know...

sky, you could start the associationgame thread tongue or a thread where one has to type the next word, starting with the last letter / syllabile from the previous word

or that thread with two options, and then ppl have to choose tongue or the question and answer thread tongue

till the end of time..

Re: Trivia!! Did you know...

ehh Nemeara, he didn't mean it literally, when he said that celery has negative calories. Didn't you read the whole sentence?

Re: Trivia!! Did you know...

the Roman name for their god of water was Neptune, however, the Greek name for the exact same God was Poseidon, so technically he was still correct, and your correction is not. he had the same God, he was just used the name that a Greek would of called it and not what a Roman would of called it. Which was probably simply done because when people think of Neptune they think of the planet, when people think of Poseidon, they think of the god.

he said that it takes more calories to consume celery then the calories you get eating it, so that the net intake of calories received from consuming celery is negative... he didnt say inside the celery there was negative calories...
