elro the forum rules state a thread should remain on-topic. Off-topic posts count as spam and should be deleted, so the very first post by aleph that took it off topic should have been deleted days ago. The only thread in which their discussion would not be off topic is the pw thread, so thats where they shud go. they both left cap becos they didnt like it, so frankly they can stick to their own gal i think

As I said, since this war is over I saw no actual topic so I don't see this as off topic spam.

Ah right, i get it elro. When a war is over, the thread title magically changes to 'anyone can post wotever they like here'. I'll make sure to keep that in mind from now on.

Omg, the first off topic spam from Orbit and Archangel.  That, on the first page too.  How hypocritical.

So get over yourselves.  Every topic has a degree of offtopic spam and random stuff meaning nothing.  Stop bitching and whining about nothing.  These days we (+forum) mods, have been quite lenient at what goes on and what doesn't - because it's the community that uses the forums and so it should be.  We try not to police it too much.  No need to jump on Elro, especially in light of the fact that there hasn't been any war-relevant discussion in this thread since like Page 8-9.

Having said that, yes, general on topic discussion should be kept to this thread.

Either way, I too was also merely responding to Lee's question of asking me how PW was going (http://www.imperialconflict.com/forum/viewtopic.php?pid=726673#p726673) .  If you read back, you'd see I was quite curious as to see how this war would progress.

I'm not saying repeatedly posting about PW was right, infact I even said we should go away but it was fueled on.

^ That in the Capricorn PvC thread.  Again, I'm not saying what goes on this thread or that thread is always Ontopic - Infact, it usually never is.  Like I said before, there's always a degree of offtopic randomness that goes on.

So (yes, Smartz, I can) - again I can say, you can have a bit of a lighter attitude to it (considering you do it yourself in other threads + here) ....and similarly others should be mindful and try to stay on topic as well (including myself).

Imo, the forums would be quite boring if there wasn't random people posting random stuff now and then.

Lyv - they deleted their posts becos we pestered them. Their other posts were all about pw and posting the ranks and no. of attacks etc, which we frankly didnt care about.

And Torqez that was perfectly on topic. Ed asked me when i was going to be doing a PvC, i decided to give a comical answer, and when someone didnt know the reference, I posted a link for it. We didnt't then go on talking about scrubs for 3 pages. I agree that there is always a degree of off-topicness in threads, especially in threads like the PvC. But this was an active capri war thread and you guys were posting again and again about pw despite the fact that we were all asking you to stop.

Sorry but I'm not going to shut up about this until you admit you were wrong without trying to justify yourself ("it was fueled on" - what are you 10 yrs old?) and that Elro as a forum mod should have deleted the posts instead of justifying an off-topic conversation.
