Its a standard nap and im using it this round as well. If you kill a family, you do not want to offer them a nap and let them explore in your core, potentially allowing them to get good position and then unnap. Whereas 76 were entitled to explore in 73's core with this nap as they had won the war.

And rotweilier, you missed my point toally I think. The whole swapping to the allies is irrelevant, 76 are entitled to keep those planets as I explained above. They have legally explored those in 73's core, nothing wrong with that, and now they decide for whatever reason to swap with allies, nothing wrong with that either.

So to answer your question, yes it is a smart move and perfectly okay.
