So, is attack % straight up?

What I mean is, consider this scenario:

The attacker has +50% attack and 1% military researched, defender has 0% and no research in military.

Attacker loads transport up with 3 soldiers
There are 3 soldiers defending the planet.

1 soldier dies, leaving 2 to fight 3

but 2*(1.51) > 3.

So will the attacker take the planet? Thanks!



Oh, and also, say you have -30%. So 1 transport with 10 guys, you have 1% military researched.
Other guy has 7 defenders.

Do you again barely win the groundfight?

the one who wins the fight is whoever has the most ground left after the battle so even if u killed more its who is left with the most

i belive a soldier has an attack of 5 so for ur first question it would be 7.5 per sold or smt vs 5 per defending sold in which case that = the same.. but since u can only kill 15% u wont kill anything with that little of a battle tongue but in essence if it was 300 vs 300 u wud win the planet smile

and the second one yes u will win since u will hve more solds left smile

You would not win this battle. Since you would only be able to kill 1 soldier max and you would still have 2 left.

Yeah you may some times realize when looking at a battle report that you killed loads more then the defender did and you still did not take the planet. All this means is you got better reasearch then them. It can be good if you want to ground Run some one thats got more ground then you. Due to you not being able to take the planet but your able to kill more of them then they are of you hehe LOVE IT

but the (1.51) doesn't apply when figuring who has more ground left, the 1.51 only applies in determining the outcome for losses.

In the end you have 2 and he has 3, you lose.
