zerty, stop jupming to conclusions so quickly - everyone according to you is a farmer unless they are being farmed. There is no middle ground.
As for my fam attacking 50, its only minimal. I portalled in one of their systems for spread, 3 days after my portal finished they found me and decided to try and sab it, plus a couple of other attacks elsewhere, so we cleared that system and made a few ranged attacks, nothing much more. My newest random had already decided to hit some guy there who was a fair bit bigger than him, due to his need for planets and the guy's lack of defence, it's pretty much just been ping-pong retakes since then as far as I can work out.

Here's the thing....

If a enemy (meaning, anyone NOT in your family or ally) holds a planet in YOUR system that should be seen as a threat.

Doesn't matter how large or how small the size/NW/score what-have-you discrepency may be.

50 has been nipping at us here and there ALL round long -- to sit and let them do so is not only negligent but stupid... there are several fams smaller than us (see how we are 5th) that don't get touched by us --- why? because they don't try to touch us.  Mutual competence.

Just because we're organized and smart and skilled doesn't mean we shouldn't be allowed to clear our systems from fams that lack the aforementioned traits.

im in 53, i hit 50 because they tried to sab my ports... i stopped after i cleared the system they tried to sab.
