well, as far as that case went, a lot of people try to manipulate the law to get money.

I wasn't there, I don't know what happened so I'm not leaning either way on that. I've been accused of being a cheater. All evidence was there but I was completely innocent lol That was when I first realized how evil women can be =p

the one thing that kinda makes me think he is guilty is i think its alittle unlikely that some parents one day thought "hey lets make some money, hmmm, well, our kid spent a night over MJ's house, lets call him a child molester and see how much we can get" there had to be something that they reacted to; its not some common thing like cheating on someone is.

lol Yeah but people think maliciously like that. There are some people in this world who have nothing to do with their lives but sit around thinking of ways to get over on people. The same thing can be said about people who go to buisnesses and "slip and fall". Then there are those ppl who intentionally get into car accidents hoping to reach a cash settlement on the spot. A lot of people will go to a buisness and complain about the service hoping for free food, hotel room, car rental, etc. etc.
I'm not saying he's innocent either. I mean the guy did have forked up childhood. I'm just saying I can see how his situation could be exploited. He was a very trusting and kind hearted person from what I've gathered. Plus that child's story can't be confirmed. I remember I told my parents that my teacher was beating me up so that I wouldn't have to to go school lol. Needless to say that didn't go over too well and well, I got my ass handed to me 
i think all of those you described are fairly mainstream. but before this first accusation, why would they pick to make him look like a pedophile? theres other ways to get money from people, accusing them of molesting your child isnt the first thing to cross people's heads. like accusing him of raping your wife is much more believable.

In MJ's context is was an easy move to make, and one that lasts even when you're not convicted..
yeah, i was only born in 87 and dont really know what was the popular view of him before the first time he was accused of molesting a child.
He did scary movie 4 which was cool
Bah..I've always been way too indifferent to losses in the family and such - but now ... the loss of mj still deeply saddens me. He gave this world so so much, and to die at 50..such a tragedy

yeah, a tragedy that he didnt die sooner, would gladly trade the last 20 years of his life to add another month onto Jimi Hendrix's life. i cant beleive theres people that actually like earth song; should of died in the early 90s.
micheal was too nieve and that was his downfall. He didnt molest children but because thats what it seemed like because people find it odd children are sleeping in his room and he obviously didnt find it odd and thought it was innocent but his life was messed

If those parents really think he molested their child, why did they settle for a $20mill pay off? (michaels insurance company did so against his wishes) Would you be fine with accepting a cash settlement if your child was molested..if that molester was free to carry on with his ways? It was simply extortion/blackmail. The FBI did a full investigation. There was no proof he did anything - he was innocent.
Sadly we live in a world where people judge people on gossip, and so there are millions out there that despise him for no good reason. Of course he was a bit of a messed up individual by our standards..but he's been a megastar since a very young age - and there going to be consequences with that.

Michael Jackson's personality type is that of a child, not a child molester. Trust someone who knows the difference.

maybe because they were pretty sure they werent going to get qa conviction because a lack of physical evidence, so they would rather have $20 then nothing. i would think much less parents would make their child lie about someone molesting them, then parents that wouldnt settle for $20million if they thought their child was molested by MJ, but there wasnt any physical evidence.

It would have been in the US too had the clouds of child molestation hadnt still hadnt hanging over him.
