"NORTH LAUDERDALE, Fla. -- The Broward Sheriff's Office said a man's comment about the death of Michael Jackson prompted a confrontation on a Broward County Transit bus Thursday evening.

James Kiernan, 60, of Coral Springs was riding the bus near Kimberly Boulevard and State Road 7 when he received a text message saying that Jackson had died. He told the other passengers on the bus about Jackson's death.

so many people are quick to say that MJ was a paedophile. No he wasn't. In the first case it was all about a greedy parent. In any genuine case a parent would have seen that the case went to court. It was a fabrication.

During the second court case MJ was found NOT guilty. If there was evidence that he did anything he would have been sent to jail so fast. The thing with paedophiles is that they are repeat offenders, you can guarantee it. If MJ had been a paedophile you can betya that there would have been a number of kids coming out and reporting him. That did not happen. So many people he knew stood by him goes to show how well thought of he was. And still is.

lol, you are just as bad as the people that say he was a pedo bear. whether he was or wasnt, only a few people know for certain. and no, if it looked like they didnt have a strong case, most parents would rather get 10mil plus then nothing.

who would pay you $10 mil to touch a kid? unless you have a smoking hot kid, no one. but a million people would pay $10, even if your kid isnt good looking.

The problem with sexual harassment charges is that they're hard to prove, especially as time passes.

When the original evidence gathering is shortly after the incident, it's simpler, as the police can look for dead giveaway clues (semen, alcohol in the child's system).  However, these charges were filed long after the crime in question.  That means the strength of the evidence was lessened... you were left with such things as witness testimony from the accuser, rather than physical evidence.
