....I saw it and it was okay as a time-filler (transformers was an hour wait and the other stuff looked kind of "sad")....not a touch on the first but not as bad as i kind of expected it to be

You don't see those in the past or present. Thus there was little reason to voice them in the movie.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...
