Re: The all-Obama thread

Does anyone find it funny that instead of uniting the country, he's divided it even further?

Not to bash the guy, and I mean it I am really trying not to, but the division between the Left and Right seems to me is getting bigger. If Obama's socialistic policies keep continuing, I believe it won't be long before even more Militia Groups start popping up.

that way americans can kill eachother and make the world a better place doing so.(environmentally)

Re: The all-Obama thread

He's not being honest about his progressive ideologies or his centralizing power.

No dignified human being can support such dishonestly. Yes I just made a value judgement. If you defenid this disgusting dishonesty feel free to defend your morally and intellecually disgusting position.

And yet he gets asked questions all the time as well. Does he evade these questions? Maybe no certified journalist thinks they are worth the effort.

Are we playing make-believe here or do you seriously contend that Obama has been challenged by the press on ANY major issue that there are serious questions about?

Progressivism is not a myth that the right wing made up to attack the left. Obama is far more than educated enough to be familiar with how his policies fit into actual ideologies (things you're obviously oblivious to). Many reporters are far more than educated enough to ask him about his views  on many progressive thinkers with whom he is undoubtedly familiar with from his studies whose thinking clearly ties into his political decisions (acting as they would advise 99% of the time meets the requirements of the "clearly ties into" claim).

Re: The all-Obama thread

I think you gotta explain that to me because what I got what: Obama is smart and knows what he is talking about, reporters are smart enough to ask him questions. But.......

Re: The all-Obama thread

Look up progressivism. tongue It's not new.

Any real discourse about the "fundamental change" Obama openly says he brings for the country would include a LOT of political discussion which has been touched NO WHERE by the Obama campaign/administration nor the press. That no one (though Obama doesn't talk about it, its the press's job to ask and make it the subject) even takes the discussion to the level of political philosophy, desired ends, and the means he'll use to take us there is dishonest. For example, it's not a secret what this HUGE energy tax going through Congress is meant to do. Obama has been open about it--BEFORE he campaigned for President. But nobody is talking about it. And nobody is questioning anyone about it.

Re: The all-Obama thread

I have come to the conclusion that Obama is a terrible strategist. I'm laughing at how he caves in to the demands of the Liberal elites, gets angry and makes empty threats to blue dog democrats, and has the most inept foreign and economic policy I ever heard of.

What's even more funny is that his promise of change isn't happening as he said it would. What's even more funny is that I was saying all of this before the he was elected, but you suckers all fell for it.

Re: The all-Obama thread

whats even more funny is that justinian has to live in the country ruled by obama

Well, it beats the "we'll bomb them back to the stone age"-man, or his nearly demented successor and that creationist airhead..
The real problem is you americans don't have any real alternatives to the democrats or republicans..

How so? Name one problem Obama has solved with his different approach.  I think it's made a few worse.

Re: The all-Obama thread

then how did he make it worse, and whom could make it better, and for whom would it be better?

and he's got good humour hasn't he? and is the proof that America can have a first black president neither a good image?

Re: The all-Obama thread

he made it worse by ignoring the evil jerks like Chavez and Castro and Amenijad do

Anybody who would slap those guys in the face would make it better

it would be better for people who believed America cared about democracy overseas and now has their neck in a noose

he has a great sense of humor unless you don't agree with him

i don't care and don't think it a huge step forward if we prove we can elect a bad president with dark skin.
