its actually closer than i thought it would be, i thought hc would win by a landslide lol. but FA has a point, if two many things are changed it will take a lot of time.

ffs stop voting hc. stefan wont change anything, we'll wait till fall if it comes down to him. notice how even the simplest of bugs arent fixed? how we cant even edit our fam forums? how we dont have allied forums? How hed rather have a mod have a big pile of work actually editing ppls forums rather than save him the trouble by making a few adjustments? do u really think he cares enough to change sumthing about SD so we can start early?

a) its not the same. this alliance thing was fun.
b) we dont all play in mw
c) odds are pretty big that with a 3 man fam ur stuck with 2 inactives
d) dont know about u ppl, but i play ic for the whole communication and playing together thing around it, not for sum crappy 3 man fam bs
and finally the last reason to make it start now without those changes... is that its either start now and play a whole round, or wait for 2 months for sumthing to be changed so we can start

One-man fams with option to ally two others 
So you form your own team of three in there, and can have a spread too if you want... on second thoughts, this means one system per player, maybe not...

visser, they are almost alike the 3 galaxies, no point.
If you wanna play normal fams etc, go to PW or MW. If you wanna draft go to Andro.
Lets make SD special like it once was, the boring setup is killing IC. 3 man fam to play with just a few friends and have a blast with HC rules etc, its a completely different game, and everyone should try it. Fast Paced and a lot of cool happenings and strategies.
3-man fams, but normal rules seems lovely. Want HC? Buy a VIP and play Draco.

Yes, well, its only fun with 3 man fams if you actually have competition and activity, but aside from the semantics of the actual nature of SD, it DOES NOT MATTER WHAT YOU ALL VOTE NUBCAKES!

visser has it right, 3 man fams are pretty lame i play to have communication with the WHOLE fam not 2 other people ... and most times if your not vip you just got atleast 1 inactive sometimes can't even elect a leader ... this isnt mw/andro and it's not going to be hardcore anyways so i think this thread should be close and lets begin next round. I didn't even play last round sd because of the whole alliance thing i knew it would just be stupid ... which i think it played it to be.

Everybody is already wasting is life playing this game, why not continuing with a useless poll? So playing useless games is allowed, but useless topics arent? You dont make sense.. 
hardcore really doesnt require you to be all that active, i dont know why ppl are convinced of that. think about it. if u have morale and opp limits then to make a certan number of attacks/opps you have to come online many times a day so that you can keep up the attacks. its completely different with hardcore. you wont fall behind on your attacking becos you arent using your morale as efficiently as those super-active 20 hrs a day players. in Hardcore you can come online and attack whenever ou want, as much as you want. hardcore is in fact alot easier to play well while inactive.
hardcore is gay period, who has time to be sending out 100's of fleets a day? it gets to that point evenually .. and thats just annoying, again i refer you to draco go play there ... theres a reason thats the dead galaxy
