Topic: Terminator 4: salvation

I saw it, pretty good although sometimes the action was campy and I can see how people are pissed about the differences between the glimpses of the old cameron future (very dark and depressing) and how it has been pictured here (less dark and depressing)

but what I'd like to know is why didn't skynet just kill kyle reese the moment they identified him? why just use him to lure connor in? if they had killed him then connor wouldn't be out there and even if he were somehow it wouldn't be bad to try as connor wouldn't know his eventual father was dead until he stumbled across his body... killing him it would be the mechanical thing to do

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

how about spoiler tags for people that haven't seen it?

Time travel is a weird thing. They probably don't know how it really works yet.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

Do they show the Dr. evil terminator

you know, the boss computer that says "No I'm not going to render the atmosphere universally toxic and unsuitable for human life, I'm going to build an army of easily confused, destructible robot soldiers that have a 1:500 chance of finding a human target and a 1:100 chance of killing a suspicious human--with laser beams attached to their heads!...what? excuse me?"

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

they already blew up almost every nuke, how toxic can you make it?

Plus machines don't work any better when the AIR is made out of acid

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

what do they have two-stroke gas engines? If not, they don't have to worry about too much CO2 and CO choking their carburetors

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

DO NOT READ IF U HAVENT SEEN THIS

ok basically i seen it and it was just the matrix

we are looking for 'The One' man to save all humans

The humans and robots are at war after a nucleur fight...just like in matrix

And the bullshit at the end with the heart is just like what Neo does in the second matrix to his bitch... All complete crap and at the end

*we've won this battle but the war has not yet begun*

then the whole film was a f'ing waste of time.

Christian Bale's acting was atrotcious too... when the guy is asking him calmly questions like..."how many survivors are there?" and he screamed "OOOOOOOOONEEEEEEEEEEEEE" was so shite.

Good effects and action but overall film wasn't good story wise at all. Camio from arny was pretty sweet though

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

you do realize that "cameo" was just cgi animation right?

I'm not a pheasant feather plucker or a feather plucker's son, but I can pluck a pheasant's feathers till the pheasant plucker comes!

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

2 more movies are going to be made

r tard

There is an alternative ending where john conner dies and they plant his face on the robot.

Besides, John didnt [ ] win, if not for the robot everything would have ended.

Besides, Terminator was filmed before matrix.

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

It sucks when the only original movie playing is "Up"

The franchise should have died with T2

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

Indeed. Movie franchises are rarely any good..

God: Behold ye angels, I have created the ass.. Throughout the ages to come men and women shall grab hold of these and shout my name...

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

It was nice...

and Cristian Bale was just trying to stay Batman a little bit longer...

that's about all I have to say about the movie... wasn't really a blockbuster hmm

This forum is stupid.

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

Is it better than T3?

"So, it's defeat for you, is it? Someday I must meet a similar fate..."

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

I wanted Ahnuld to interrupt 3 with a cigar and a glass of cognac saying "pretty bad isn't it?  Enough of this shit, let me show you my mansion" and do a hour long tour of his bel air palace

"Here's my new Hummer...THANK YOU"

That would have been a better movie

And its still better than the series

Oh yeah some of you live outside the US and haven't seen the series...NUKE AMERICA NOW spare the world

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

The thing parallel between the matrix and terminator S that most struck me was between marcus wright and neo. In the matrix reloaded, we get told that neo was actually part of the design of the machine, and like at the same time he both has his own free will, but is set on a course that will only fulfil what the machines want. In Terminator S, sam worthington seems to have his own free will, and yet was actually sent to the resistance to fulfil a mission for skynet.

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

i read somewhere that you could take your family to see it, which has completely turned me off to the movie. the Old terminators where suspenseful, scary movies, practically horror movies; not family movies; they ruined the series. and it doesnt have arnold right? how can you have a terminator movie without arnold?

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

"NUKE AMERICA NOW spare the world"

We're trying to get the Koreans to do that hmm

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

hmm

You know how when you were a kid you would stomp around I AM A ROBOT I AM METAL BULLETS CANNOT HARM ME

That's better acting than the series

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

Arnold makes a cameo

Also, this is an action movie, a good one

It's not exactly a cameo hmm

Re: Terminator 4: salvation

arnold's face was cgi'ed onto someone else. Plus they made him look younger than he was in the original films. I don't get that. Why would robots age?
