I have seen 3 different bleeding injuries at 3 different hospitals... well much more than that since I used to work in a capacity which put me in the ER room often as not to pick up someone I was given custody over.
But this will suffice for an example.
1) Cut finger tip off
This man was kept for about 30 minutes where others before him were allowed forth into the ER room, headaches, fevers, coughing, other minor symptoms before his finger. He had the tip and wanted it back of course, kept with ice in an aluminum foil container.
He had it bandaged so they were not going to rush on him
2) Head wound
Head wounds bleed, there is no getting around this fact. Since the man was ambulatory they were not going to rush him in. His towel got a little to wet with blood, so they provided him with... voila... a thick set of padding. This of course helped staunch the flow a little better since towels are designed differently. Still he waited also.
Then the VA hospital situation
3) This man had a wound obviously going to require internal stitches as well as external. He came in, showed them the wound, and was ushered back into the ER, there was a line which took me 3-4 hours to get through, yet he did go immediately.
Those three stuck in my head out of probably hundreds of examples. Or maybe they truly are the only 'bleeding' ones I saw. I just do not know.
I do know this. Hospital ER staff will be reluctant to fill all beds with lesser issues so if there is a true emergency they can have some beds. A lot of coughing, wheezing, sneezing, feverish people fill hospitals in some places where public healthcare is highly distributed.
The problem is that coughing, wheezing, sniffing, sneezing is not an emergency. Yet they fill our ER rooms anyways.
I worked in the Portland Oregon area with 10+ hospitals, and probably 100 clinics for mental health. This is as a secured transport officer for drug addicts, people with mental issues, and those who attempted to commit suicide (lots of slit wrists I could talk about, all after they have been treated...)
Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)
