Unfortuntely, we don't have a time machine. We can put more sanctions on them but as you can see they are rather ineffective. The best solution is to take out the reactors; we'd have alot of support from many countries especially neighboring countries near N.Korea. I really hope something is done about this and not have world leaders talk about how they condemn this and etc. We really do need a strong leader and Obama isn't it but we can't expect from much democrats though.

North Korea has tactical nuclear warheads and the rockets to hit japan and south korea. If anyone attacks them, they will blow up Seoul or Tokyo. The time for air-strikes was not used by the Bush administration. Obama has now to deal with another pile of sharts.

yeah tongue just because he had a nuke, doesnt mean he has the tech and knowlage of how to shrink it to a size that is usable in a missile. The only thing that worries about what he has now is if he develops ducktape and tapes a big fat nuke to a few shortrange rockets and then fires it with a horsemen to guide it!

North Korea doesn't want to be in the "ins". Their leaders want to remain in power.

That means they want to prevent an uprising.

To do that they need to appear strong AND provide food/basics for their people.

To do that they need to simultaniously flex their military muscle AND get aid from other countries (E.g. U.S...).

Having a nuke is one thing. Having a nuke small enough to put onto a missile is another, putting a nuke onto a missile that actually works i sin a whole new universe. ^.^ This guy has some major mental issues, he knows that once he's gone the entire establishment will eventually collapse, so he's trying to do as much as he can to destroy his enemies first before he dies off. He's so delusional that he thinks he can succeed at this.

They can't feed their own people, the US feeds their people. Get that missile defense up and shoot down the next rocket he tries to lob off.

There is a huge dif between china and NK. China has more fear for an uprising as NK. If china gets into troubles with the US, they don't have grain. Then the uprisings will follow automatically. Or that is at least what their leaders fear. If NK people starve, they just starve.

I'm all for an airstrike on the production facilities, but I don't know if they can locate the targets.
