Topic: Giro d'Italia

Whos watching big_smile? Im glued every day tongue.

So far im impressed with Danilo DiLuca and ofcourse Boasson Hagen.

The return of Basso is ofcourse exiting, apart from Lance (back then) he probably had the best climber capabilities of all the riders 2-3 years ago, and that says alot when compeeting against riders such as Ullrich, Vino, Rasmussen etc.

I think the first hard mountain stages will bring a lot of excitment, as there are many riders that need prve themselves in the mountains, Sastra, menchov, DiLuca, Basso etc, all knowing that Leipheimer will beat them in the timetrials.

Re: Giro d'Italia

im waiting for cops to arrest half of them for beeing doped up, then it starts to get interesting ^^

Re: Giro d'Italia

You can never be sure, there will always be some dopers in every sport, but to be honest i feel quite confident now that there is not a doping method that the anti doping ppl dont know about, (like CERA last year) That means that the ppl doping atm are most likely using old methods, which is detectable. They have really tightened the net i think. Also, even tho sum might turn out to be doped, its still damn fun to watch tongue

Re: Giro d'Italia

I sincerely dislike DiLuca, arrogant bastard.
Boasson Hagen is very impressive this season, I just hope it's not due to CERA.

Did you hear about Horillo's crash? hmm
Fell 60 meters down, fractured 2 vertebrae, some ribs, his patella, his femur, his skull, and pierced both his lungs. On top of that they couldn't find him in the canyon for 15 minutes.

Re: Giro d'Italia

About Boasson Hagen Primo, he is a long time coming talent from Norway, shy and down to earth. Ill give you my house if he is on CERA, i can guarantee you he is not. Cant wait for more stages big_smile, excpecting a mass sprint today, watch out for the columbia train, and ofcourse petachi

till the end of time..

Re: Giro d'Italia

Quite the time trial by menchov.
Definatly my favourite for the final win. Only rival is Leipheimer, and possible De Luca if he does alright tomorrow.

Re: Giro d'Italia

Well, gotta admit Menchov is finally in the actual race for once... let's hope he can carry this form on to the Tour.

This forum is stupid.

Re: Giro d'Italia

he has won the vuelta earlier, but never really made the leap in the tour. If he can win this giro he will really be a top rider. However there are some hard mountain stages left

Re: Giro d'Italia

menchov is better than leipheimer and deluca in the mountains, sastre is on like 4 minutes, and not in great shape.

Re: Giro d'Italia

Yeah, not to repeat what the Sporza commentators said, but yesterday he had a day off and today he'll have to perform in the mountains... if he has the ability he should try and get in a group of mountain goats making a break for it.

Re: Giro d'Italia

Menchov is as cold as ice tongue

And dear god, how cervelo screwed over pauwels...i'd be so incrediby pissed. He would have won easily.

Re: Giro d'Italia

They should pay the winner more for each eliminated racer

Would make it more interesting

Re: Giro d'Italia

Re: Giro d'Italia

Menchov is gonna win it.
The way he handled today's stage was of world class. Letting Sastre get away and staying with DeLuca, brilliance.
