That's so screwed up, I have no idea how to respond to that.
"That's so screwed up, I have no idea how to respond to that."
I'm happy with the attention anyhow.
Little Paul is right. You don't respect the virus' right to live. I know it's not "living" in the full sense that you equivocate over, but it's a virus doing what a virus does! You oppressive monsters!
You accuse people who care about the environment and humans living in sustainable harmony in that environment place human survival beneath that of viruses?
You actually think that's a sound argument? Wow. Why do you bother posting?
It has as much right to exist as you do. Who are you to play God?
Who are you to judge? If I am an emotionless human being whose actions are guided by logic and reason do I have less right to live than someone who is guided by emotions as they PMS all the time? I question your right to judgement because your position is so arbitrary yet you base everything upon it--which is precisely why you should not judge at all. Couldn't we alternately take the approach that human beings who are too emotional hurt the evolution and well-being of the species and should be removed from this earth, whereas non-emotional human beings and this virus are both productive and serve a purpose (non-emotional human beings the rational and logical goals of humanity and this virus the elimination of weak human genetic stock) and should be protected?
Well, we're people, therefore, it only makes sence for us to want to protect people above all other forums of life.
I like how you spam when I outwit you sKoE.
Rather than just let it go when I'm obviously not engaging you on the subject (despite you being incapable of stating a position not easily mocked) you spam fail because you have the mentality of a five year old and clearly, even if it's spam in response to mockery of you without content [that's debatable... my nonsense is coherent though silly--you lack coherence], you still feel that you need to have the last word in a nonexistant debate. Does your society hate manners and a sense of humor or are these traits something you personally chose?
It makes sense for you to protect stupid and weak people who dumb down and weaken your gene pool, thus decreasing your species' chances of survival in the event of trying conditions in the future, Khan?
blind guardian was mainly joking skoe. And even if not there is no reason to flame. Putting fail after a full explanation is not really constructive now is it?
The kid is a moron. Don't bother explaining things to him.
I bet you get outwitted by 10 year olds daily sKoE. You're that disgusting of a human being. Your intellect is that of a mildly retarded person. There was no "flame fest" here, just you spamming and me making fun of you. You can't see something that basic because you are, in fact, retarded. So keep spamming. I'll keep feeling bad for you.
Think I was joking all you want--if a virus could weed out our idiots like sKoE from ever being born I'd cheer that thing on as it ripped a big gaping hole of billions from Earth's population. Thoughtlessness is evil, and these people's retardation is already wrecking the lives of billions and on course to wreck the lives of countless billions more down the line.
Please stop spamming.
Kemp, your argument about the rights of a virus is absurd.
The only way a virus would have rights is if our SURVIVAL happened to depend on one of them. It just so happens that our survival happens to depend on our environment as a whole (a new concept for you, I suppose), not every single microbe and virus in it.
You didn't outwit anyone, you just embarrassed yourself, again. That's all.
And now you claim you are capable of judging, AND, moreover, that we should, like you, judge which humans are genetically inferior and not? OMG. Keep talking, kemp, and soon you'll be locked up, if you aren't already. Actually, ARE you in prison or something already? Is this why you have so much time on your hands? You're some @!$$ of some Aryan Brotherhood goon, aren't you? Why don't you go fix your makeup, Kemp? Want to look good for your big mamma, right? Go on. Get!
Twit.

I explained how our survival could very well be dependent upon our evolution as aided by microbes. Your education is so poor you failed to comprehend what I posted but, in your usual arrogance, you just presumed it wasn't important because you didn't understand it.
>>And now you claim you are capable of judging, AND, moreover, that we should, like you, judge which humans are genetically inferior and not? <<
I made no such claim. I merely pointed out the facts of natural selection and the fact that screening of genetic material makes a species stronger.
Keep crying. It won't make you more educated or less ignorant and arrogant.
CDC Announced within one day that the Swine flu was man made in a labtory by the USA. You can search it on youtube. And any vaccine they make I dont want. It takes years of testing to make vaccines so if there just suddenly gonna produce a cure from there ass and ask people to take it is bullcrap.
Btw...
Obama has choosen Baxter ( A vaccine producing company) to produce the vaccine. Im not sure of the year but I know this is 100% true, I belive 2005 they produced flu vaccine to be used on HUMANS. They were taken and tested on birds as a random test.
Every single bird that took the vaccine died!
It turned out to be 100% PURE bird flu. There was no news about, there not under investgation no one was fired. And this is the company that is going to produce the vaccine for H1N1 influza. Well I dont want nothing the goverment has to do with medical treatment.
Also the last out break of swine flu in the 70s 4 soldiers were infected one died. They immediatly started to produce a vaccine. More people DIED from the vaccine than the one case by itself. And as it stands there not even 100% the soldier died of the swine flu.
There are nearly 500 more cases of infection every day now, with a total of over 10,000 confirmed cases, and 80 confirmed deaths.
So, it seems you have a 0.8 percent chance of dying if you contract it. What are the chances you'll catch swine flu, anyway?
World Health Organization predicts 1/3 of people worldwide are expected to contract it over the next year or so.
I know of another flu that infected 1/3 of the total human population of planet Earth. At that time there were maybe 2 billion of us, and over the course of those two years (1918 - 1920) 35 to 110 million people died from it.
Health authorities say the virulence of the Spanish Flu virus was higher than H1N1, with a death rate of 1.5 - 5 %. H1N1 is currently only 0.8%. But consider that the virus has hit the developed world first, and we have supposedly more developed living conditions and a medical systems beyond that of 1918 levels. Is swine flu really less virulent?
But what will the infection and death rate be when H1N1 hits developing countries, whose medical systems and living conditions are reminicent of 1918 medical care and standards of living conditions and nutrition?
Another thing to consider is also the higher percentage of the world's population living in urban areas than in 1918, where, it is estimated the Spanish flu's death rate was much higher than the average 1.5-5%. In metropolitan areas it is thought to have killed 8
Xeno.....this "swine flue" just isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things. It will be no more fatal than the normal flu. More people will die from traffic accidents than this thing (about 3200 a day worldwide from traffic accidents it seems), and that's pretty sad really. I don't know why your trying to drum up a panicked frenzy over something as insignificant as this. The media is hyping up the story for ratings, and your beings taken in by it.
Note: this isn't 1918, this is 2009. Medical facilities in 3rd world countries are today light years ahead of what they were in 1918, and most people who contract this thing recover on their own without medical treatment. Some chicken soup and OJ and a good week of rest and your done.
>>So, it seems you have a 0.8 percent chance of dying if you contract it. <<
It seems like that, does it? That's funny, because it's not true. Most of those people die from complications brought on by other medical conditions. So while that may be the rate of death among those weakened enough to be infected, it is not accurate to generalize that if "you" get it "you" have a .8% chance of dying. "You" in this case is the forum population, which presumably does not have the rate of medical complications that the people weak enough to get infected have. Though I suppose that if xeno is closer to the average age of the forum and you're all 12 year old weak children, that could make his claim closer to accurate.
>>But what will the infection and death rate be when H1N1 hits developing countries<<
=
Who cares?
>>What of India's slum-dwelling poor, and China's vast populations of unemployed migrants<<
Who cares?
Wow your a emtionless prick. You must not have children buddy, Cause you wouldnt talk like that.
Anyways the swine flu right now is not a big deal. Flu tend to die in the summer time, and Its missing some kind of amino acid that makes it that killer virus. However, this is the first stage, next winter it has the chance to mutate and become 100x more lethal. That is the scary part.
And so does the common cold, and about the same chances *yawn*
it only seems like it's bad cause the news is actually REPORTING IT! If they reported on common cold outbreaks people would be like "omg the world is ending!".
Keep in mind that no virus is curable. We can develop immunity to them, but there is no way to cure them.
