Topic: Fox News post-election desperation

Since most rightwing americans on this forum are considered extremists, I'd like to point out that if you want real extremism you should watch Fox News a bit more, even online. Just get a weekly Hannity dose, or a simple daily stop by the homepage, for a laugh, it's enough.

Right now they are having a front cover on Wanda Sykes's joke on Rush Limbaugh kindeys, with an (incorrect) image of Obama pointing a finger - meaning basically "good one". (Not a word on the freed US journalist in Iran for instance, but this happened before election too).

And that's your everyday treat.

I mean...

I can understand the anger, attacks and logical biased stance, all the more because they face a mainly lib-sold press out there.

I can even understand the meddling in Political action with Fox Tea Parties. But they've lost it completely, and it's often... alien.

To be fair, it's also a more honest pledge. Some have decided to change their stance after Obama's landslide win, adapt a bit or a lot to a new world.

Fox stays as they were, completely dedicated, and are not trying to convince anyone that they're moderate. They're courting the same people, even if they are the minority, with the same message.

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

didn't see that "inaccurate" photo

here's live video from that insane right wing extremist site CSPAN

you know how right wing CSPAN is, they don't even let Democrats edit the tapes to explain what really happened

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

Yell, check the kidney joke, is Obama pointing a finger saying good one? He laughs for sure, just as he's supposed to do and like Bush laughed and smiled while being trashed by Colbert. That's what I meant by "incorrect", sorry for not being clear enough.

Which brings a valid point by the way, the current president is supposed to be grilled on this occasion, not the past one.

I'm sure there are good reasons to be mad at this administration but Fox is beyond madness and I'm pretty convinced you know what I mean. Sure good to have an opposition but come on.

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

yeah he's merely laughing out loud, trying to choke it off and failing.  Clearly didn't do anything like point a finger!

"He laughs for sure, just as he's supposed to do"

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

Are you for real? smile

He laughs. He liked it. Sure. Forget about my "incorrect" parenthesis if you think that's a fair picture (though one might wonder why they chose that one, then).

You think this story deserves main headline? For real?

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

Fox News does not have to be desperate at all; they are beating their competition almost 2 to 1 ratio. They have more viewers than MSNBC and CNN combined, hell half their viewers are Democrats who are tired of the one-sided crap from the other 2 networks.

As for being right-wingers, they may have more Conservative Commentators than other networks, but they also have their Liberal Ones as well. It isn't one sided like MSNBC who only shows Liberal Commentators. Why should they "adapt" to a new world; what you just spouted is typical Liberal BS.

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

I guess no one has ever seen Wanda Sykes in a comedy production. This is absolutely in character for her. Not quite worthy of being made news, but talking about why it shouldn't be is only further press for an otherwise benign topic.

On the subject of FOX News, Hannity is not amusing, he's absolutely annoying. Actually, every political commentator on the 24 hour news networks is annoying. Must be why I only watch the news long enough to catch the weather anymore.

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

Neo Zeon, thanks for your participation and your brilliant interpretation (I indeed think the, what did I call them, "lib-sold press" yes is completely unbiased, and that Fox should indeed "adapt").

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

I always watch BBC. It's much more amusing.

Re: Fox News post-election desperation

Main headline? I dunno, king abdullah said if israel ignores the 1967 arab peace plan for the 42nd year, there will be war next year somewhere next to israel.

Obama's math was bad and even he admits it, only "how bad" is the issue, CBO says 50%

But as news that's like reporting "hot pigs stink"
