Few things:

A) Being Mark's attacker?? No, not true. What is true is I did have a massive fleet. This 'chaos' (disappointing) round was me practicing attacking and figuring it out and stuff. How else could I pull off top 10 size but only top 25 nw?? Think about it, I was hitting KPAX instead of mark because KPAX broke mark's portals in the systems... not mine.

B) MARK aided Gondor and I a bunch, he helped secure our core, he attacked around us, he gave us advice how to do better, he made a big difference in our play with sacrifice to his. My throwing a few planets to him was because I made a mistake! MARK owned just over half a system, and i full explod it. Let's just say that MARK was mad because he was gonna put his DS there. Which I couldn't say before EoR in case we got someone to run into it like a noob.

C) Gondor went inactive, he basically gave up at EoR, he didn't want to play anymore. If a player decides to delete, what do you say "Send your aid and let us take your planets first so we don't have to re-explo". RIGHT!? You can't argue that. With the massive core that MARK and I (mostly MARK) secured in the early round, and how much Gondor was sewn into it, we couldn't afford him to go completely inactive so we couldn't see an attack, or so that if he did finally decide to delete there would be tons of holes for people to try and use. We pulled them in case he deleted, and as I said before. I told MARK I would NOT pass enough to be #1 size rank, he'd have to finish up by attacking. He just wanted the #2 which he deserved. True we made an error making them easily raidable but Gondor and I were making up for screwing MARK up the whole round. It was core security. It's done everywhere, even the reason you trade planets for NAPs when you're in each other's core.

D) Honestly, a lot of people did vote mark as either the best overall SS or the best SoR strat. He held #1 so long in the beginning and middle no one had a chance of catching him in score. 2 mistakes caused his NW and size to change. But then again, isn't score representative of full round performance Render? MARK did a really good job and deserved his #1 score.

E) Primo, "10. Favourite forum-poster: Trundar" I'm a little worried what you're saying there hmm.

F) This is the last I'll be saying about any of this. It's terribly sad how many times certain people have to hear this before they still don't understand. I'm done, as MARK said "man i was trying to avoid the silly boy forums but i couldnt help it" I feel the same way. I will also not give in to the hypocrisy and lies that have been circulating. IF we had been cheating, don't you think Primo would have done something about it?? Don't you?! They removed KPAX and his multi, blocked Alena, and stung Melvin for an IA. IF we had been cheating then they would have done something about it.

I agree mark did well...

But no... Score is actually completely meaningless imho...
Counting by score is as useful as drafting UD to be an ACTIVE member on your fam. You could do it  and hope for the best, but you'd be wrong. lol

That's like watching an (American) Football game. and Saying.... oh well.... the Patriots did so well in the first half... Too bad the Steelers scored 4 touchdowns in the last 5 minutes and won the game by 21 points but I think The Patriots wanted it more at the start so they really won.

3. Best sor strategy: well, Skoe (best SoR strat tongue, even if it doesn't work for a full round since he claims he made mistakes). Alena

4. Most aggressive player: Mark or I... I spent 'edit: basically all' my round attacking with barely any ops and never much morale til EoR hmm

5. Most planet fat player: PRIMO!!! big_smile. Primo's NW per planet is basically the highest of anyone. I was close darn it! X( but Primo takes the cake

6. Most honorable player: Xeribo

7. Least honorable player: I guess KPAX

8. Favourite Player: rizzy! Oh wait, he didn't play SD darn it... NVM, vote still stands

9. Favourite theme/name/fampic of the round : I am Regent

11. Biggest drop: KPAX tongue, went from #1 to 0 in a click of a mod's mouse hehe

@ Emo, I recognise MARK didn't win. I'm saying his score was top notch and shows he had the SKILL to be the best. If the browns beat the broncos back in their glory days you wouldn't say, oh the browns are the best! You still recognise the broncos as being the best for ALL they do, whether they screwed up once and lost.

It was nice that you and Mark kept me as an ally. I was always behind from missing time on the Easter weekend and my race was suitable for attacking but my econ was always way behind. I helped where I could while being hugely lame tongue

I was around tongue Just wasn't on mirc at the end. Anyway, you Mark haters can rag on me since it was my choice to pass planets to Mark at EOR. I only had those planets because of Mark & Trundar. I also market aided when they were getting hammered. I could have grown more if i hadn't done that but Trundar and especially Mark were out to win where as i was a bit more relaxed tongue So i could deal with giving out help

well this round (which i did not follow) must have been kind of crap if me dropping 2 planets when i was on 8 planets was the biggest drop. im glad i left

This is popularity contest..

What i call good strategy of the round when u cann't spend too much time online:
1. build 4-5 DS at BOR
2. keep enough lasers on planets to avoid raid
3. keep neighbours infiltrated all the time
4. find families who has best spread and ally them
5. get spread all over theyr core
6. keep on infrawhoring and keep your core clear
7. build unbreakable fleet
8. make EOR jump

Does it makes sense ?
