I don't understand why you would've taken offense to those threads. They might've been the most best threads ever made on IC, the old ones anyway. 
The very very old The Netherlands Rules thread went past the 10k posts mark, and that was the reason why the 1k post cap was created.
Well, I wouldn't know because I couldn't read them, lol. I wasn't so much offended as I was irritated.

To be honest, that "The Netherlands Rock" thread from several years ago pissed me off, especially since the mods never closed it and it kept getting renewed every 1k replies. So likewise, I found an opportunity to get back at the Dutch. However, I did not intend to insult the Dutch to the extent taken here, but I guess since you didn't know my motivation it's hard to understand where I was coming from. I have taken cheap shots at the Dutch since then, but now that the IC Dutchies have become emotionally ballistic I feel a bit of revenge and remorse at the same time. The link is you can't relativise. So you had relatives close to the accident and fantasies about them being hit by a car? strange. But at least that explains.
There is nothing strange about worrying about the safety of your family members. I knew they were going to be there, and it was hours after the atack until I finally knew that they were ok

2 days ago the 7th victim died (8 died total).
And her daughter is still in the hospital..
