Don't get mad, we regularly use those concrete barriers and only concrete barriers for precisely this reason. Yeah one might injure people behind the barricade but not badly, the main impact is to the perps car. It was a serious suggestion. Another is to copy our secret service and shut down all road traffic within a mile of the parade so only pedestrians get through. When Bob Dole came to town they inspected and locked manholes, post office mailboxes etc from the day before the visit and nobody could drive near him. Who know how many people do mourn now, atm the attacker himself is dead, and beside that he killed 6 people atm. One person is still in life threatening condition.
I saw the movies uncountable times, every time wondering why the hell is someone doing this. While watching those movies you see CHILDREN crying, maybe damaged for the rest of their lives they dont know what is happening, parents have to explain. People who can't sleep the next days, seeing those movies, images in front of their eyes, again, again and AGAIN!
