A stupid story. Probably made up and copied & pasted from somewhere else. Way too over simplified.
What if there are no chores that need to be done at your house?
What if there are 10 homeless people?
What if the guy didn't know how to do the work?
What if he was injured or otherwise incapable of doing the work?
Don't get me wrong. I've voted for 3 different parties in the last 3 elections; our 'centre', 'centre-right' and 'moderate-right' (more-extreme-but-not-as-extreme-as-flint ) parties have all attracted my vote. But the difference is, is that our right-wingers are far more relalistic about their expectations. They encourage lower taxes, smaller government, responsibility, working however able while you are on a government benefit etc, but they also provide a real alternative for people who are unable to work, are out of work due to the fault of the company's bosses, etc, while not attempting to screw up the environment and not taking their inspiration from a fairy tale creature.... people like flint and balsz come across as so far-out to the right that to me they seem to be on another planet.
To even things up a bit, I've posted a nice little funny speech by an American republican in another thread.
Gondor: wtf, im not even mentioned. I was the glue to this family. Thats BS!
Econ: Gondor, if you were the glue, then I was the glue sticky thing that applies the glue.
(edit: I believe that's called the brush).
Torqez: Econ you forgot the part where you say "and I made Torqez delete!"
