To be honest Chretien was out before I started caring about politics.  I guess I can't say he was a bad PM, certainly there have been worse, but to the best of my recollection he didn't really do anything.

Thing about Canadian politics is that they only matter when somebody does something bad. Nobody has much to say about Chretien, and so consequently most are happy enough with him.

Mulroney on the other hand....
