Topic: Which President violated the Constitution?

Now I can win this one.


I will challenge the people who wish to post here to PROMISE to vote Conservative in 2010 if I win this one.



Did Bush or Obama violate the constitution????



Obama violated it, Bush never did.



Obama fired a CEO of a major company without the right to do so.

This was unconstitutional.


I have heard, on Sirius Radio channels, Leftists even go so far as to admit it was not Constitutional, one quotable as "Constitutional or not, Obama was smart to do it".



I call for the Impeachment of Obama. I am an elected Republican and I support this claim!

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

A typo is not deliberately violating the constitution.

Firing someone publicly without legal right to do so.... that's deliberate

A real challenger could have found links showing the firing if he was that secluded from society that he did not hear of the firing of the GM CEO.

Ummm, you're issuing a challenge and aren't giving anybody any real facts to go on. I could actually attempt a debate but to the naked eye, all this thread is you talking out of your ass =p

Its pretty much exactly like bush saying there are WMD in iraq, lets go get them. And everybody is like....really? Where?

Then bush says, "Just trust me, you'll see when we get there."

Well that statement wasn't to be taken as a reference to a factual event. It was just an example. I could change the name of bush to fred flintstone and it would still fit my example =p

Who cares about the constitution, except for most of the bill of rights. If the separation of powers is violated I don't care, but I will join a right wing extremist organization if the 5th or 6th amendment is taken away. Long live the 5th and 6th, the American citizen's most important freedoms that few even know about.

You didn't say deliberately in your challenge... you just asked who violated the constitution... the answer is both apparently... one through a typo and one apparently by doing the right thing and firing some guy... albeit without authority...
