Fam of the infamous White Shadow, self-acclaimed IC Legend and top notch player. Includes power players such as Torqez, Rizzy, and HC4E. Holds most of the upper single player ranks, and is leading all 3 catagories straight across the board. This fam has been in first for pretty much the whole round and P-NAPd their only competition for first place in the galaxy. Started out strong and aggressive pulling explo planets from the start and making their presence known early. Has 'graciously' gone across the galaxy raiding and offering NAPs as they go making powerful use of their inflated infra and experienced attackers.

2       The Secret Legion (1742)       3329      55165492      268792

Lead by Kagar and doing a good job of avoiding falling behind Guitar God's 1731. Has trailed behind 1750 near full round and has no hope of claiming the win over them unless miraculously some of 1750 deletes before EoR. Recent NW jumps have seen this fam put an undisputed claim on 2nd place NW and the only place they fall from 2nd is in their size ranking. Holds more famous players including one who requested to be unnamed. Expected to be a main contender for the win but has fallen too far behind 1750 in their score to make up the difference in time for the EoR. Their claim to fame is holding 2nd away from 1731 by virtue of time and their massive NW, even though 1731 has 1742 beat by planet size.

This fam came out of nowhere compared to the beginning of the round, players such as the ever ragged on TYMO have made this a dangerous fam to allow too close. This fam was way behind at the EoR and early game portion of this round, but made an astonishing and rather fast rise to power within a couple of weeks. Being allied to 1750 has had its privileges. They appear to have no qualms about moving in, portalling, and taking a system without objection or resistence from the targeted fam. Picks on mid range fams for the most part because that's what they used to be, though they've done their share of upper fam battles (including participation in the disappointing 50/31 vs 28/45 fiasco).

Top fam the whole round, allied with 28 and went through some nice wars and was supported mainly by Blackdog Wontfail who seems to have dropped off the face of the earth and gone inactive or feels a need to drop NW severely. Made a good round out of always being prepared for battle and fighting hard when it came. Well known players include Listos, Snailex, Icynightmare, Piggy, and Pitbull. Caught in the middle of the tier 1 and tier 2 NW ranks being too far low from the top tier of the 3 top fams, and being high and out of range of the next starting at rank 5.

5       HaPPy BirthDAY eKoe!! (1741)       1454      28946589      156529

Lead by Bonanza and a mid ranked fam all the way. The fact that these guys made it to rank 5 NW is a joke as the real top 5 was plagued by deleters and inactives. Thinks they'll get their way just because that's how they want it, this fam has no problem picking on fams smaller than them, but also no problem stepping up to the challenge of a high or similar ranked fam. Nice, but strange, jumps pulled them up from their mid ranked loserness to be the falsely earned rank 5 NW they are which is pulling their score along slowly behind them. Good balance of attackers and bankers to make their fam able to work well together. Continued effort may see this fam finish 8th for the round.

This fam has been ragged on the whole round and was the victim of White Shadow's personal enjoyment. Lead by Luster, they were expected to drop back and fall out of existence due to over exploing at EoR, but they held their ground and grit their teeth against it and worked hard to stay #3 most of the round. Getting themselves into a few wars with slightly smaller fams earned them size by calling in their allies in order to do the job at all. Springing from war to war sometimes their choice and sometimes circumstance saw them licking their wounds when they were pounced on by 1750 causing Skoe (their top player) to delete and move to PW which caused them to lose their earned rank 3 to their allies 1745 but still secure 5th for EoR score are there to be no more deletes. The topic of much hate mail Artic constantly working to pull off a 1st place victory was met with a difficult challenge and failed under the circumstances.

This round's most famous vultures as they've been called numerous times. Not very wise to let them portal close because they'll watch for a moment of weakness and snag a few off the top like someone stealing the cherry on someone else's ice cream sundae. Not much to say about this fam, not much has happened to them, an early war between the two chemical families and 1759 with their allies didn't earn much of an ear or draw much attention as it was neither epic, or long. An ally change finds them allying 1741, but to what advantage? No notable happenings have occured for this fam to brag about. Held their ground as a top ranked fam for most of the round.

8       [ML] Medieval Lords (1760)       1611      24142863      152281

Who are these guys? No one knows much of anything about this fam and their players. Their leader offered no insight into the popular or famous players for anyone to write a PvC on, nor has any of them surfaced who is well known. The fact of the matter is none of this fam is really of any notable standing, and the only member of this fam that has any sort of reputation that is recognizable outside this fam is Gwynedd the retired forum mod and current Virgo tutor. To be honest, this is actually their leader's second round and first in over 2 years. This fam rised from the ashes growing the whole round to their current position from a starting rank of 24th for the galaxy without the help of any allies flying solo for the majority of the round. Fighting hard to maintain a standing around 10th place they were knocked back several ranks first by 1745, then 1750, then 1728. Deletes and server removed inactives have been the bane of this fam as they have lost a lot of score from players leaving the fam. However, they've stayed afloat by the continued effort of 11 or less players working together for a common goal. Preventing themselves from being killed off, or passed up has been a full time job for this fam, but they've done well for being literal nobodies in staying on top of things.

Lead by fightstate and captained by War, this fam also came out of nowhere as they were sitting around 23rd by the approaching end of the explo phase. Impressive jumps of their attacker War and good overall teamwork in the fam has paid off in earning this fam a good standing for NW whether their score has a chance of catching up and bringing them to a spot in the top 10 or not will have to be seen. Allying who they did near the latter half of the round has proven to be useful as entertainment for 1748 but these fams have yet to fight together as those who 1748 picks fights with always ends up being NAPd to their allies from earlier turmoil. Not willing to give up no matter what the odds this fam has fought and grit their teeth against any and all threats including 1750 where WS was quoted as saying that 48 has been their best competition this round so far.

Falling behind, that's for sure. This fam fought hard to be high ranked for most of the early round and didn't manage to keep it as their inactivity is proving to be their downfall. I can't even be too sure that these guys are even trying anymore. However, they've done well and that shouldn't be legitimately argued.
