we elected him so he should do what we say... If he wants to show respect to the saudi king when he is on vacation or when he is out of office he can do that. He should follow proper protocol for a top level official meeting.
"If every other head of state gave oral sex to the Saudi King should obama as well?"
something like that would never be in a protocol because it would definately offend tons of people. Why must you give me such a extreme example when we are talking about bows?
Now again I dont mind if obama bows to the saudi king if that is proper protocol when meeting a monarch. I looked on google to see if it was and I couldnt find the answer... all the top results were talking about how obama bowed to the king.
There is no "We" because not everyone is going to agree. The same way that if he does bow or does bow, he's going to offend or not offend people. I elected him because I felt he would be able to reach out to other nations and develop strong international ties. So far so good.
Basically my point is that how extreme or small the gesture is in the eye of the beholder and the masses will never agree 100%. So in the end, he can do whatever he likes despite whatever some other person chooses to do or has done before. This whole discussion is stupid =p
Sex without the e is still SX!
