I'd legalize pot in special pot houses where "hr puffenstuff" and "lidsville" were looped at full volume

Above all I do not argue for a nanny state, I argue for protection from those who will end up hurting me. Drug addicts, even pot heads, represent a threat to my safety, my property, my rights.
Not ONE concealed weapon permit holder has committed murder, and yet the number of crimes they stop...
Thats enough on that.
The topic is pot.
I am also for the slow irradication of smoking rights. My policy is simple. Every 2 years increase the age your allowed to smoke at by a year. If this started in 2010:
2012 = 19
2014 = 20
2016 = 21
2050 = 38
Hopefully no later than 2070 smoking would have died entirely.

The problem with flint's brain is that he only uses part of it. He'll start out saying something reasonable, then say something extremely stupid. Or he'll say something stupid and finish with something reasonable, but the stupid part makes the reasonable part irrelevant =p
When potheads represent a threat to your safety, property, and rights, you've got some serious issues that aren't the potheads' problem.

when you're fired for smoking legal pot and f'n up on the job, will you turn to the nanny state for unemployment?

If i am fired for legally smoking pot i will sue my (ex)employer
I smoke everyday. I think pot is a great thing.
IT does slow me down a bit, thats why i'm taking the day off, have to study for a final.
New law i don't like is how you can't drive high in Canada. Why? because if they suspect they'll drug test you which can go back a few weeks and then your still screwed.
they can test before they hire you
Yeah I've passed a few of those having smoked recently. 
is that common in the US?
I mean.. they do test you for drugs when u do certain jobs here.. pilot... police also i think.. but on a normal job you never ever would do a test on drugs.

Yup. They do drug tests sometimes even if you work at a McDonalds.
... some places drug screen you, restraunts, mcdonalds and the sort usually dont. Telemarketing neither, more times its for more professional jobs. However Wal-Mart and some other stores do test you, simply to protect the companies integrity
