hmja, that's good for when there wasn't a recorder out there yet, or if we'd lose such technology or an existing song in wav./etc file.
and being able to do that just from a sheet of music, gets easy once you fully understand the system, but the problem I have is that I can't do it like immediatly, by just looking at it for the first time and playing it at the right tempo, I need to study it first, perhaps tab it or learn it by heart. But the guitar pro tabs you got I think are quiet complete, and you got the normal sheet music above it aswell.
Anyways, It's nice/good to be able to read from a piece of sheet music, but I def. wouldn't say Tabs are sin, it is rock and roll afterall lol. And another thing which is nice to is to be able to play music by just hearing the song and not seeing the tabs, which I can do for some songs, although not immediatly unless really simple, and I might do that for complexer solo stuff songs but then I'd have to pause and hear and try note by note lol. And often I play the singing notes instead, which I did when i started guitar, I just played single notes of the song chorus etc, helped me to know where each sound is on the guitar and to set my fingers, couldn't do chords, even simple open chords, when I started, but then one day I could do them easily switching over from one to another.
