How about, they were both duds? And as much as I don't like agreeing with Einstien, he had a good idea there. It's the idea behind it, you're not representing yourself but you're country. If you're stoping by on a personal trip for her birthday or christmas, ya, fine, an Ipod is fine. As a gift of state it should be something that represents the state itself.

1. Shes one of the most rich and powerful people in the world. She could have almost anything she wants.

2. The United States is in an economic downturn as is much of the world. There are people in OUR country who are jobless and homeless. Starving.

3. She's the queen of England. Not the queen of America. She doesn't need to be put on some sort of pedestal by us because she's not doing anything for us.
