Topic: CHALLENGE: Treasury Powers!

Tim Geitner, aka the treasury secretary, and the Obama administration want the power to seize companies which pose a significant risk to the United States economy, such as the failed Lehman brothers, AIG, and the likes.


So I ask, do you Obama supporters support this?


This goes beyond banks, it could even include say GM, Ford and the likes also.

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Its being discussed.  By socialists.

Even the AIG Bonus bill got crushed in the Senate.


The Repubs and Blue Dog Democrats are starting to really Eye ball the spending bill.



There is a Conservative uprising at the grass roots, not seen since the CARTER Years.

Maybe, this time, it wont be wasted away by Liberal-repub posers.

Ermmm, no.  Bad on him.  If I open a store that sells shoes for turtles and it fails - that doesn't mean the government should save my turtle shoe business - it means my business stinks and it should fail.  By protecting my failing turtle shoe business you are taking tax dollars from successful businesses that could use that income to instead grow there businesses and hire more workers and create more jobs.

BUSH said we had to avoid Chapter 11 trusteeship because it would take too long

now we know we have plenty of time.  There's no excuse...EXCEPT

when you listen to the Govt "experts" they say give them 2 - 3 years and they'll earn a profit on these losers

if they had to settle up NOW they'd be screwed.

THe con is on.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.

Notice how GM just dropped ALL of it's profitable lines? Yeah I smell a rat.



Mark Levin said it best. They will tax others to death, force this new company to be the successful one, or otherwise limit those others, just to prop up the union people there and to get their ideal of an auto for us to drive to be the only type existing.
