too the both of you; It all comes down to how you meassure the success of the healthcare i guess.

If you measure it by who can give the absolute top treatment to rich people, then i guess US wins
If you measure it bu who is furthest ahead on reasearch i guess US wins, altho this is very often seperated from the hostpitals, as the research is conducted by pharmacutical companaies that are an institution of themselves, and really has no need to be included into the healthcare as a unit.
The fact remains tho, that if you measure it by who treats more patients and most efficiently, and by what healtcare system that produces the greatest utility for the public, then the EURO system prevails.
In europe thoose veterans would be caught up by the normal health care, and would not need a program like you are advocating in the US, therefor this all would not be as issue.
Healthcare for everyone, because its in the best interest of the nation!

You do not have to be rich to enjoy the benefits of the US system. But you keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better about paying for your inferior care. Talk is cheap, at least. You have more talk than we do, I'll give you that.

You are right that I misinterpreted your post. What did it have to do with Obama's desire to shaft US veterans wounded in service, again?

Fancisali you are still ignoring and misleading with your answers. There are too many people in the US going untreated either because they cannot afford a proper insurance, because they have none, or simply because the insurance company refuses to achnowledge their responsibilities and try to fight every claim against them.

We've argued this out and it became apparent even to the Europeans that Americans would have to use less medical care under a "fair" system.  We are hogs at the trough. 

What we have right now is anybody who doesn't have any shame can get outpatient care without insurance at the ER, and people who own commericial real estate qualify for federal programs to pay for medical care.  If you're willing to rape the taxpayer, you can.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.

We have free care available to those with a low/without an income. You're not "misleading," you're misinformed and downright wrong.

If you keep paying an awful company because you don't know they're going to deny your legitimate claim, there are many lawyers happy to sue them for more than your claim.

You just make things up because you "must" be right. You have no idea what you're talking about.
